Marvel's MCU Phase 6: What We Know (and Don't Know) After Comic-Con and D23
Marvel just unveiled some major plans at San Diego Comic-Con and D23! It's crazy how many new shows and Movies are coming soon - we're all about MCU Phase 6!
Wait, So No Blade Updates?
- We're supposed to get a new Blade reboot - a super cool vampire hunter, right? It's got Mahershala Ali and everything. It was supposed to come out next year, but Marvel said nothing. Ouch!
- This is kinda a downer. They haven't really said anything about it - especially because filming had some big changes, with new directors and writers. We'll just have to be patient,
- This is something they could have really focused on at Comic-Con, because it's super exciting! Hopefully, there'll be more details about that one soon!
What About X-Men?
We're still super excited about the X-Men! It's coming to the big screen, so everyone is ready! But, no updates were given at Comic-Con and D23 about that Marvel MCU X-Men movie.
Where's Kang the Conqueror?
- A big change happened. Avengers 5 is getting a new name, it's gonna be Avengers: Doomsday! It's no longer The Kang Dynasty, which was kinda a bummer - people loved Kang, even if things got tricky in the real world!
- They really wanted to tell us what's up with Kang! How is he gonna fit in to all this Avengers madness. He had that epic "Avengers: Secret Wars", and fans want to know!
- What's the deal with those Doctor Doom rumors? They're just rumors, but you know fans love a good mystery!
- Marvel Studios is just gonna have to drop more details. They did drop a ton of clues at Comic-Con!
Any News About The "Big Three" Avengers?
We do know Captain America 4, Thunderbolt and The Fantastic Four, are totally happening, as that Marvel Studios boss confirmed.
- The Avengers are still the big team, but nobody has said anything about the full cast or how those movies will work with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
- They've been tight-lipped! It'll take until next year to find out what's up. They're keeping the mystery alive for now. It's kinda cool!
- All we know is that we can expect a movie between Blade and Avengers: Doomsday, and then two more between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars! Marvel likes to leave fans guessing.
You'd think we'd hear about Spider-Man 4 too! This one is super anticipated. There are whispers about it - it is actually being made! But nobody is talking about it yet! Spider-Man: No Way Home was huge, but nobody has really dropped clues yet!
There is good news! If you are an animated fan - we'll get tons of new stuff, like season 2 of X-Men '97 and season 3 of What If...?. That panel for Marvel Studios Special Presentation - think Werewolf by Night - was super exciting but we are waiting on the new release date! Those special presentations always end up as awesome stories. There's a ton more happening in this universe!
