Dark Claw guards New Gotham City from evil including the Joker/Sabretooth combo of Hyena alongside his Jubilee x Robin sidekick Sparrow. Having all the same skills as Wolverine—that is, a healing factor, adamantium-grafted bones and claws, increased senses, and more—Dark Claw also gets his Batman on by using any number of tools while stretching his brain muscles anytime he needs to crack a case.
With Dark Claw's yellow and black color palette, sharp and jagged claws, sweeping scalloped cape, and armored helmet, Tom catches the terrible and dangerous image of this Wolverine x Batman combination. Tom masters the appearance of a character poster for Dark Claw's successful comeback into the comic book market. Tom fits his own artistic style exactly by modifying an already classic design. Tom's meticulous attention to detail in Dark Claw's outfit gives the work a realistic quality, so bringing this hero into the present day by positioning Dark Claw against a blood-red backdrop next to his stylised superhero name.
Fans can still get excited about the forthcoming September release of DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age—a hardcover omnibus that gathers every Amalgam Comics one-shot, including Legends of the Dark Claw #1 and Dark Claw Adventures #1 even if Marvel or DC are unlikely to revive their shared universe or unique hybrid heroes anytime soon. Marvel vs DC content is lacking for fans, yet thanks to Tom Hoskisson's (@tomhoskissonart) amazing artistic ability, Dark Claw's flawless visual mash-up of Wolverine and Batman is once more something that has to be discussed.
The way the characters will be included into this new world excites fans. Though the Amalgam Universe has been shelved for a long time, this revival demonstrates how much the worlds of DC and Marvel still have to offer their audience. Legendary DC Comics artist Jim Lee has created his own Goku fanart honoring Akira Toriyama and offering his interpretation of what the main protagonist of Dragon Ball would look like created by hand. A piece first drawn live on Twitch and then uploaded to Instagram by industry veteran and current Chief Creative Officer of DC Jim Lee (@jimlee), Mr. Lee is no stranger to sharing sketches both official and unofficial, utilizing his signature art style to bring to life some of the best fictional characters of all time. In the past, Mr. Lee has published fanart of Star Wars’ Baylan Skull and Darth Vader, Katana from Mortal Kombat fame, Ultraman, and even Marvel’s Black Panther, with this Goku drawing being a welcome addition to Jim Lee's non-DC Comics work.

Recently passing Other World on his way to his next adventure, Akira Toriyama, the powerful anime and manga artist behind Dragon Ball, left behind an amazing legacy that fans will not soon forget. In the weeks following Toriyama's untimely death, many artists including Naruto's Masashi Kishimoto and One Piece's Eiichiro Oda have honored him. The fact that his creations have impacted people in the comic business and beyond just emphasizes the significance of a series that will now have to carry on without its guardian there provide direction. Drawn by the legendary Jim Lee, Goku looks amazing; so, here's hoping he finds the time to bring more iconic Dragon Ball characters to life as the beginning of a new chapter in the franchise sans Akira Toriyama starts.
Dragon Ball is a huge multimedia series spanning back to the 1980s from the creative mind of Akira Toriyama. Rising from a serialized manga for Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan, Dragon Ball grew rapidly. It traveled abroad via a manga and an anime version liked all around. The first starting animated show to follow the exploits of the young Son Goku as he pursued the Dragon Balls was Dragon Ball. Any who acquired these magical orbs would be granted their wish. The show then would split off into the hugely successful Dragon Ball Z, which followed Goku as an adult and had high-intensity combat and Goku's ceaseless pursuit to be the strongest. The series has also enjoyed several popular video game adaptations and continues to release several new animated series and theatrical films up to the recent popular Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
