Godzilla has wreaked havoc on countless cities! But it is the big "Godzilla vs" attacks that fans remember! It's part of the fun! This big monster has been in movies for years, and the chaos just never gets old!
The Godzilla franchise began with the classic movie that kicked things off in 1954 - the one with that scary atomic-powered monster rampaging through Tokyo. They've even made new, totally different movies - a Godzilla film with awesome, modern special effects! Those new movies, even though they have some super-awesome fights, will always go back to the original movie, for some inspiration, too! That classic Tokyo attack was iconic!
King Ghidorah is always the toughest - a monster with three heads. And you really got to see the fight choreography! That's a really popular fight, since Godzilla also is so good at using that atomic breath, you'd think it'd be easier to win but not with King Ghidorah. These battles were so exciting to watch!
You bet! They made this one way back in 2004, where those aliens - a big part of this franchise - really were on a wild one. The Godzilla movies had to have their "ultimate villains" too! Aliens set those huge Kaiju loose - they set up these battles across the planet with this new Godzilla character (Zilla!). You can bet those were epic fights! The battles themselves are cool but it almost gets overwhelming because so many monsters are fighting each other in the movie.
This big monster is all about wreaking havoc - think Godzilla destruction all over the place! But it's not always about just causing destruction. It's about looking at a more in-depth question - think about what nuclear power means and how Godzilla reflects that message of humanity. Those classic Japanese movies are actually kind of creepy! Even those Godzilla vs. movies make you think. This stuff isn't just a mindless monster movie - it makes you think!
The awesome thing is - Godzilla isn't over yet! And when it returns, there's sure to be more chaos. And even with all of these great movies - Godzilla still holds the record for the longest movie franchise in the world! The fans will have to wait for some new stories!
