Included as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription are several games to fit a broad spectrum of players. Reflecting this as well are the new Days of Play additions, which range from athletic events including Cricket 24 to the PS2 Classic action-adventure and stealth game Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, which commemorated its 20th anniversary in 2022.

Returning on May 29, Sony's annual "Days of Play" campaign features fresh challenges, discounts, and more; many new games will also be released to PlayStation Plus. Lasting until June 12, this campaign covers PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Stars, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Gear, and other collaborating stores.
Several new PlayStation Plus products will become available during the Days of Play celebration, as disclosed in a post on the PlayStation Blog. Apart from the regular PS Plus monthly games accessible to all PS Plus members, which comprises SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4, new PS4 and PS5 titles will be accessible in the game catalog for PS+ Extra and Premium members, and further PSVR2 and PS2 Classics will be added for the Premium tier.
With almost 10 titles lost including the immensely popular Grand Theft Auto V, PlayStation Plus members are in for a tough June.
Many PlayStation Plus users will feel the losses to the catalog in June, but the Days of Play campaign will assist to offset the damage. The addition of more PS2 Classics is much appreciated as there are some fantastic games available.
An emulated version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was posted on the PlayStation Store earlier this month, which spurred rumors that more PS2-emulated games would soon be available on the PS5 and PS4 with the features displayed in previous PSOne and PSP titles that underwent emulation treatment. These included improved visuals, a fast save function, rewind capability, and bespoke video filters, thereby bringing cherished titles from prior generations closer to an experience that contemporary players need.
Targeting an even larger group of gamers and introducing younger generations to classic titles for perhaps the first time, PlayStation Plus continues to be a great deal for its subscribers when including more titles from past generations and other devices such PSVR makes it even more value for money.
With more incentives and unlocked avatars, gamers should surely keep a close eye on what Sony has in store when Days of Play 2024 runs from May 29 from 12:01am to June 12 at 11:59pm local time in each zone.
With lots of fresh games and deals for PS Plus members to enjoy, this year's Days of Play event seems to be more than ever. More PS2 Classics would be a very welcome addition and guaranteed to be popular with both new and long-time users.
