Avengers: Secret Wars - HUGE Character Returns & Cameos Confirmed?

Avengers: Secret Wars: The HUGE cameos We ALL Want to See!

Avengers: Secret Wars – Setting Up the Biggest MCU Crossover EVER!

Avengers: Secret Wars is shaping up to be the most epic MCU crossover since Endgame! This upcoming movie’s got a serious chance to bring back those beloved characters who haven't been seen in a while – a lot of people are already hoping for that event, even if this storyline was largely unplanned for during those earlier development phases.

The storyline, inspired by the comic books of the same name, is based upon an idea where all the major heroes and villains end up on Battleworld, and under that all-powerful being Beyonder’s control. It really creates some exciting, unexpected opportunities for creative expansion; allowing unexpected and unplanned plot elements to emerge.  This presents an almost unparalleled chance to finally re-introduce beloved characters which would not typically be used without justification; or without introducing such major developments which only make sense with a large, overarching narrative like Secret Wars. It’s that ultimate battle-royale – that crazy, impossible fight where anything could and will happen!

10. Wesley Snipes' Blade: The OG Vampire Slayer Returns!

Wesley Snipes’ Blade’s cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine was legendary! He totally owned it, slaying Cassandra Nova’s minions— even making fun of the troubled Blade remake. That cameo created huge waves and a serious amount of hope among fans: That his appearance could actually happen in the future. Considering just how popular the remake’s early issues have made the character extremely famous once again; the possible appearance of Snipes as Blade is increasingly probable, and a great potential source of excitement. This totally makes his return incredibly plausible.   Those multiverse shenanigans in current MCU lore already create the possibility, giving him a grand, spectacular appearance.

9. Shang-Chi: The Martial Arts Master's Long-Awaited Return

Since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsSimu Liu’s masterful martial artist has vanished!  Even his teamwork with Wong (a major cameo guy!) didn’t give him any kind of return, highlighting the rather strange omission and showcasing some issues surrounding Marvel's inability to utilize these newly-created and well-received characters effectively! But this could totally change. We could possibly get to see his comic powers (duplication) and totally new heights for this unique character; thus that missed potential will ultimately change in this situation. It is also important to consider that Secret Wars presents another chance for Shang-Chi, after many prior missed opportunities!

8. Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider: Unleashing Hellfire on Battleworld!

If there's one Marvel character that absolutely needs to appear in Secret Wars, it’s Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze)!  Those awesome 2000s solo movies might be weird, yet they made Cage’s Ghost Rider legendary. And the MCU’s version is totally overshadowed, folks! Using this opportunity to finally utilize Cage as Johnny Blaze would give not only fans immense levels of satisfaction, this moment could also open new pathways to explore the more supernatural aspects which have generally gone unutilized. That image of Cage's flaming motorcycle cutting through Battleworld after years of absence? Unstoppable coolness! It's also something many people might want to remember.

7. Moon Knight: A Midnight Sons Team-Up?

Disney+ shows have awesome characters, yet they rarely appear outside their respective titles; so many remain underused.  Seeing Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector/Steven Grant) with Blade or Ghost Rider in a Midnight Sons team-up? Seriously amazing!  It makes a great cosmic event. That intense style, those awesome scenes, totally showcase why Isaac’s character works so amazingly well on a massive stage; it should feel totally normal.

6. Eric Bana's Hulk: Unleashing the Classic Rage

Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk? He’s totally overshadowed and he is often simply comic relief, which severely undermines this truly great character! This creates room for bringing back Eric Bana’s Hulk. Using the past will help improve some key moments that lacked necessary action which is often a requirement in Secret Wars-styled battles. It has some real potential here!

5. The Guardians of the Galaxy (the OG team): A Surprise Cosmic Appearance!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 gave them a brilliant farewell. Yet there is always the possibility; there’s that slim chance they may appear; after all those other characters previously appearing – there’s that strong likelihood this might just happen, folks!  This chance, which would be a massive shock– but having Rocket and Groot’s new team join is less trouble! That’s easier for the studio, too!

4. Ultron: The AI Villain Returns with James Spader!

Ultron (voiced by James Spader) had insane wasted potential!  His menacing style; his voice – this dude was amazing yet he vanished! It is fantastic news however that that upcoming Vision series might just revive him (Spader’s confirmed return)! This appearance will generate that necessary intensity only seen with Spader’s character; especially as an antagonist in an Avengers crossover. Secret Wars presents this ideal scenario: using a plot where that sentient AI might survive any number of realities! It makes this event incredibly meaningful, to make it possible to bring a largely dismissed antagonist into an enormous cosmic scale!

3. The Eternals: A Long-Overdue Return

The Eternals movie? Generally poorly received at the time, yet that did not entirely kill off their appeal! Many re-evaluations in those recent times highlight the greatness buried inside this relatively unique addition, folks! That key role in Earth’s creation story remains underutilized; this massive oversight needs fixing– this cosmic epic presents that ideal opportunity.  They were a cosmic addition;  so it perfectly suits this epic story! Even just filling the numbers, this group's return makes sense. The addition here really would make a positive contribution, helping generate excitement, if not create that intense, satisfying climax many were expecting after many years of this omission!

2. Ulysses Klaue: Sound-Based Villain Power Unleashed!

The Eternals gathered on the beach in Eternals Image

Andy Serkis’s Ulysses Klaue died too soon!  This totally fun and delightful villain’s death felt premature, seriously impacting that character and underutilizing this generally entertaining person, and only providing those brief and sometimes underplayed moments. And Secret Wars might revive this amazing and entertaining villain:  he gained a sound-based body in comics and thus his past might be given an interesting, significant turn, showcasing his newly revealed powerful abilities. Even just including a great actor alone increases his popularity; it does also allow the producers to include more creative abilities into the overall storytelling which will add variety and appeal. This revival should create some interesting plot directions, to totally satisfy some older viewers who liked the character and to potentially introduce that same energy among newer viewers.

1. America Chavez: The Multiverse Master Key!

Secret Wars is coming off a multiverse storyline. That leaves many interesting, challenging unanswered questions;  but the focus here could remain in this next generation. The entire situation might use America Chavez’s powers (interdimensional travel) as that central device to bridge many pre-MCU stories and bring those old characters and new characters back! It makes perfect sense and is a greatly appreciated addition in a context which would never occur outside of this kind of plotline. The character has great potential for generating those big cross-over plots!
