Get ready for an epic adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom! This new game brings the action of Zelda to new and exciting locations. After starting the game, there comes a moment when you have to choose your path!
The Big Choice:
After making it past the opening levels of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, there is one big decision to make about where you should go next. There are rifts scattered across the map! There are three destinations: Eldin Volcano (to the Northwest of Hyrule Castle), Faron Wetlands (North of Hyrule Castle) and Holy Mount Lanayru (to the Southeast of Hyrule Castle). This is going to give you a whole new challenge, something like what happened in the selection between Gerudo Desert and Jabul Waters. You'll get some amazing story and dungeons regardless of which path you select. It's one you'll never want to forget!
Eldin Volcano:
If you are thinking of heading to Eldin Volcano you're in for a wild time! Be ready, as it’s hot! Get ready for all the lava and hot enemies! It has some fun things that will spice things up. There are Gorons who need your help too, so that you'll be able to give the support to a young leader.
What's awesome, about Eldin Volcano is how this adventure will gear you up for more of the game. You'll discover some fantastic Echoes (new abilities), which focus on fire.
- The Torch Slug and Fire Keese are both amazing!
- Fire Wizzrobe can seriously dish out a beating when you collect 5 triangle points
- And who doesn't love bombs that can get tossed by a Zirro! A flying creature with a talent for bringing some big explosions! Bombchus is pretty fantastic, too!
Faron Wetlands:
Next on the list, are the Faron Wetlands. You might think this sounds familiar if you tackled Jabul Waters previously in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom but they are very different.
There is some pretty serious combat to be faced in Faron Wetlands.
- Level 3 Lizalfos is going to push your combat abilities!
- A truly epic addition of Electric Wizzrobe
- The formidable Mothula Lv. 2 and Darknut Lv. 3 need five points but the payoff is amazing! The last one may just be an easy one shotter! You can really bring down all your opponents and do it without anyone interrupting!
What’s especially cool, is Faron Wetlands will prep you to handle the upcoming electric monsters! All of these make a fantastic setup for attacking in this environment! There is even more as this area will get some awesome "Drippitune" and is another really fun element to enjoy in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom!
Holy Mount Lanayru:
If you think that mountains aren’t going to have a cold welcome for your Zelda adventure. This is where Holy Mount Lanayru takes things up a notch in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and is exactly the opposite of Eldin Volcano. You will have to keep Zelda super warm so you'll want to stay bundled up and well-prepared for all kinds of snow!
There are a few cool echoes with some fire, including the Brazier and Temper Tweelus! There is an abundance of great winter enemies.
- Ice Wizzrobe
- Gigantic Snowballs
- Sword Moblin Lv. 3
But it's even more epic than just cool weather!
- Ice Block is really unique and very fun! Although Water Block is very useful this one gives you different ways to play! It’s certainly not going to be the best in terms of practical use. The power of the cloud helps give an awesome ability that's truly unforgettable!
Which Region To Choose First:
It appears you've gotten an idea of which one you would like to do. What makes this tricky? It really does seem like they can be conquered in many different ways, but here’s one that may really be the most worthwhile! Eldin Volcano is worth checking out first! It offers a collection of useful fire-based echoes, especially the ones used in other locations!
- You might encounter spider webs, especially in Faron Wetlands. Those webs get burned really quickly!
- Holy Mount Lanayru is quite chilly and some great items and potions that help warm up are needed, so the fire powers prove to help Zelda make her way.
- And don't forget how this can also help with battles and strategies, as bombs for swordfighter mode are especially great to keep ready. It gives an advantage.
If you go in a particular order you may find more efficiency. It helps to check out side quests early that can help improve some important and useful areas like improving access to new modes of transportation (especially mounts) or get special accessories. The ability to chat with cats will give your quest another great perspective! That's what really spices up Hyrule.
Next on your adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. It appears that Faron Wetlands would make a perfect destination! There’s even the electricity from this that adds power for Holy Mount Lanayru!
For anyone who really can't decide which one they would like to go with! The "Lands of the Goddesses quest gives the right place to start off with! Eldin Volcano, Faron Wetlands, and then Holy Mount Lanayru are what help to bring the best out in your experience. But ultimately this could change with every game session, it really all depends on how Zelda goes along in her incredible journey to save Hyrule.
