There's one big reason why many fans weren't too happy! This had to do with mods and the ability for gamers to really enhance what makes their games stand out. It's a major part of what has made Bethesda's other games incredibly well-loved. Fans could jump in to get their games to be more epic! And that came with one major issue!

Starfield came out with an expectation from players that they'd be able to download these mods, even on launch day, but Bethesda made it clear that this was a feature that would be rolled out much, much later!

  • Starfield had a really strong sale and became an instant hit with gamers! There was a group that really had their hearts set on these mods and that group couldn't even get the chance to have their ideal Starfield experience! So, it seemed that Bethesda didn't do its homework on the importance of mods!

It may sound obvious for Bethesda, they released a huge Open World game. Everyone loves their previous titles! It's a true game world that has many chances to make it your own!

The Elder Scrolls 6 has been announced and it will likely be a very exciting release for Bethesda as it gives audiences a chance to make it their own game, however, many people might have wondered what this was going to mean? The fact is, this latest game release might not be as smooth as they want it to be! You know Bethesda is super aware that it was a mistake that "Starfield" didn't have Mod Support right away.

Why does this matter?

In the history of Bethesda's titles, players of Skyrim will be especially happy about mods that add new content and fix major issues as well.

That could even make the game a more exciting experience!

Now, the fans of this incredible RPG will look for those same experiences and, Bethesda is likely taking notice as the new game, The Elder Scrolls 6 is something that many are awaiting! For the players, they want mods from day one! If it wasn't done in a timely manner, many of the fans may not see "The Elder Scrolls 6" as that big success that Bethesda really wants! Fans of open world games. They just know it's always possible to change the world in those games.

The games are great by themselves. It's clear that these changes make it a whole lot better! If Bethesda wants The Elder Scrolls 6 to reach major popularity, it has to bring the features that really give a sense of the players wanting to participate in a game. This should include getting to download their mods from launch day!

As fans wait patiently for what Bethesda is creating next, you might want to keep these points in mind, too. Maybe a little bit of that anticipation is based around making these mods more popular and having access to new worlds. Bethesda, now is the chance to really create something epic that the world is craving!
