Starfield Shattered Space: Join House Va'ruun or Not? The Big Choice

Starfield, a great roleplaying game from Bethesda, recently added its new expansion, Shattered Space. One of the first decisions that you are tasked with is to choose to either join or to decline joining a strange faction!

You see, it looks like you are getting caught up with House Va'ruun, this interesting, isolated group. A super unique religion of sorts. They have been off on a Planet for a long time.

This all unfolds as you receive a distress call and end up on the planet Va'ruun'kai. And with some exciting scenes and drama from a sudden Explosion, it turns out that it is your chance to get involved in a story about them!

Join, Or Not to Join?

When you end up in a town on Va'ruun'kai called Dazra. One thing becomes very apparent. You hear a ghastly spirit speaking. It is Anasko, the founder. He looks to communicate, but it's almost like the entire town can't hear this spooky voice, but you can! It is a very creepy element that will pull you into this expansion! It is a wild adventure you won't be able to escape from.

Once the character is tasked to do this role. You'll have a tough choice to make. Should you join House Va'ruun, or will you keep making your way through Starfield? It looks like the only answer is to join House Va'ruun if you want to experience everything that the DLC has to offer, so you can't ignore this big request!

While there are a couple of dialogue options to tell those in charge of this amazing organization that you don't want to be a part of things. What makes this choice not so crucial, is the fact that if you decline their invite you can come back later! It looks like this decision isn't going to cause the universe to change forever and while the group might get a little sassy, they will simply invite you back into their crazy cult. That's a great moment as you make your way through the DLC! What this all really comes down to is, you can start this epic adventure at a different point if that is the case.

What's The Point of the Choice?

It seems the entire expansion will only unfold if you agree! This includes quests and side-quests as well. But there are a few cool elements! There might be moments when House Va'ruun is in action, and if you happened to have stumbled upon those areas you can see them! However, without going through the expansion you can't truly feel the impact.

The biggest, most powerful, choice! It really gets down to the fact that you need to give your heart to House Va'ruun! It will determine if you embrace an incredible Philosophy.

This might give you some new perspective on how this group and its members impact your role. What will really leave you thinking! These special elements were designed to bring players back into this epic, story, over and over again, with every Decision affecting how the Story progresses!

A New Adventure:

It might sound like the decision really is all in the player's hands! The best part is that the new House Va'ruun characters bring a great sense of adventure that anyone could get behind!

There were new interesting locations to discover with this addition, that brought some real-world drama and elements, it didn't really look to add any other major decision points to get players to make these super life-changing moments. Maybe you could explore and learn the new story by simply waiting. Or you could take "The Shattered Space" and really make this adventure the center of what you focus on. However, it's unfortunate. This choice really was a big opportunity to take those incredible world events and to create something special with some other interesting outcomes! If it had happened it would have been a big hit for the universe! Fans of "Starfield," are always looking for amazing additions and if Bethesda gave us an opportunity, we could have experienced something remarkable. However, if you need an exciting new chapter in your Starfield journey, take "Shattered Space and have an amazing adventure with this fun and exciting expansion. This certainly helps make Starfield even more entertaining!
