Creator ConcernedApe reassured the community that he is still hard at work on the ports even while Stardew Valley's huge 1.6 Update has not yet shown up on consoles or mobile devices. Although many have benefited from the 1.6 Update's inclusion of new vendors, mechanics, events, and dialogue, the question of when it will be playable for everyone has loomed over PC players for a few months at this point. Though the wait might not be short, this does not indicate that development is faltering.

Concernedape posted an update on the console and mobile ports to X (formerly Twitter), noting that he knows it's been a long time coming but promises he's still working on it daily.
