Gamers are very aware of Project Rene right now. and with "The Sims 5" being set on the back burner for the time being. EA may be trying to give this new, smaller version to keep people's attention, but those are not exactly "great first impressions." Gamers are having strong feelings that they have seen this game somewhere else.

While it looks somewhat basic. It might still surprise some, however. Many may also have concerns regarding its resemblance to "The Sims Mobile"! In the end, those who have been Gaming for a while will realize it's too early to call this a "flop" as things are sure to change in a big way, until we get to see more updates!

With those concerns in mind, the most exciting part may just be how the game continues to take shape and will depend heavily on the development process going forward, EA might be ready to really show what the game is capable of doing.
