Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 Leaks: Get Ready to Pre-Farm Fugue and Sunday's Materials!

Honkai: Star Rail 2.7: Fugue and Sunday's Ascension Materials Leak

Huge news for Honkai: Star Rail players! Leaks from the Version 2.7 beta tests reveal the Ascension and Trace materials needed for the upcoming 5-star characters, Fugue and Sunday! This means you can start farming NOW to max out those characters the second they drop!

This leak is seriously exciting; especially when we consider that it happened in advance of that official Version 2.6 update. Many fans remember this update bringing some significant changes; introducing Rappa in Honkai: Star Rail and other notable changes which added intrigue to many people interested in getting into Honkai for the first time; creating that significant hype that drove new and returning players towards the game.

Thanks to the incredible Honey Hunter World database, we have detailed lists of those necessary materials.  Let's break down Fugue's needs.

Ascension Materials:

  • Immortal Scionette, Aeroblossom, and Lumintwig: These are farmed by battling Abominations of Abundance across Xianzhou Luofu. The best method? Those Calyx (Golden) activities. Remember, you need tons!
  • Searing Steel Blade: This Fire material drops from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Scorch (Jarilo-VI's Great Mine).  You won’t need quite as much, but it is still worth farming.
  • Traveler's Guide: About 290. A reasonable quantity.
  • Credits: Hundreds of thousands! Yes, seriously. Getting that level 80 is pricey!
  • Regret of Infinite Ochema: This weekly boss material from beating Phantylia.  You'll need 12, so start farming soon!

Trace Materials:

  • More Immortal materials (Scionette, Aeroblossom, and Lumintwig).
  • Fiery Spirit, Starfire Essence, and Heaven Incinerator: Farm these Nihility materials using Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Nihility (Xianzhou Luofu's Alchemy Commission).
  • Tracks of Destiny: 8 of them, farmed weekly from the Simulated Universe.

Tip: Use the Omni-Synthesizer to convert lower-tier materials into rarer ones if you got a massive stockpile!

Now let's talk Sunday!

Ascension Materials:

  • Tatters of Thought, Fragments of Impression, and Shards of Desire: These Memory Zone Meme materials (from Penacony) are best farmed via Calyx (Golden) activities.
  • Chordal Mirage:  This new Imaginary material only available in the Penacony Grand Theater map's Stagnant Shadow activity (like some of Rappa's stuff). Be prepared to grind this specific location as it’s currently only obtained this way in this area!
  • Credits: Also needed in big amounts, those costs increase for obtaining such powerful characters like those featured.

Trace Materials:

  • Those Tatters of Thought family items.
  • Firmament Note, Celestial Section, and Heavenly Melody (Harmony): From Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Harmony (The Reverie (Dreamscape) map).
  • Lost Echo of the Shared Wish: That weekly boss drop (Harmonious Choir: Great Septimus).
  • Tracks of Destiny: Farmed from the Simulated Universe.

Conclusion: Pre-Farming: A Strategic Advantage (and a Risky Gamble!)

Pre-farming gives a HUGE boost. You'll be ready to instantly upgrade these characters once obtained from those upcoming banners, especially important in Honkai with its very demanding gameplay, where powerful characters significantly improve a team’s winrate. You can save time, but understand that potential risks are very real – the numbers can shift slightly over Version 2.7's beta.

This gamble however might just prove incredibly valuable if successful. Starting to collect materials earlier may provide a critical edge and impact the performance of newly-obtained characters once that update actually drops!
