To find these hidden characters you’ll need to fully explore the interactive overworld map (Thanks, Nintendo Life on YouTube for this discovery!) That map provides a bird’s eye view that displays all the places.  To use it: Talk to that yellow Toad in Party Plaza.   Then, you search; press the X button to add to your team!  Simple!

  • Pauline: On a beach. It is the left side of Minigame Bay.
  • Ninji: He’s on a small, grassy island which is easily identifiable– on the right side of Rhythm Kitchen. This tiny location can be found quite early game and can be added into your party surprisingly quickly.

Getting Pauline and Ninji adds new stuff to the Party Plaza's Card Shop!  It sounds ridiculously easy.  Yet other hidden content exists in this impressive and awesome game and these features can only be unlocked via completing various tasks in-game. This detail really showcases how expansive and impressive the scope and the possibilities presented in this particular title really are, when carefully looking into it, folks.
