With all those games available, Steam's become huge. The thing is - there are way too many reviews to sort through. They are not all great - and many reviews can be hard to use to get a feel for the games.
Why Would Valve Change Reviews?
- You know those memes people copy-paste all over Steam user reviews. They just take up space and it makes it harder to know what is good.
- Valve has been listening. There's a whole Steam subreddit full of discussion, too. People really wanted Steam to make these reviews better - that makes this new feature a big deal.
- Valve has even got plans to revamp reviews.
- They want to make it way easier to find the valuable information. Think, “Is it worth buying this?” Or, “Is this hero shooter worth playing? ” This change could really change things for smaller developers and games like Sword of Convallaria - because we don't know how they would get seen otherwise!
