Starfield Shattered Space DLC Guide: Weapons, Grenades & More!

Gamers who love Starfield are going to be super excited about the latest DLC, Shattered Space. This new addition brings a whole new level of excitement to this awesome open-world RPG from Bethesda, giving you a new environment to explore and, best of all, new weapons to add to your arsenal.

Shattered Space DLC

This awesome DLC expansion brings you to a place known as Va'ruun'kai! You can discover new items to use, especially new weapons that you may never have seen in the base game. It also means there is new gameplay that will change the way you combat the Va'ruun enemies and discover what new skills you'll acquire while getting through these amazing missions and adventures!

New Weapons

There's an entire inventory of new weapons to discover. Most of these new Va'ruun weapons are based on energy and come as heavy weapons or laser guns. Many of the enemies found during these missions can drop them. This might be especially useful if you want to acquire weapons you've never seen before! If you're looking for unique equipment this could be exactly what you want.

However, not all of the weapons can be discovered randomly. You have to search them out. It also means you need to earn them through the storyline.

The Va'ruun Schimaz is a melee weapon. This one requires players to take on "The Promised, Broken" quest to find it. This unique weapon appears in a quest called "The Promised, Broken.".
The Va'ruun Starstorm (heavy weapon) is another cool weapon you can get. One is a guaranteed item you can loot during the Oracle level! Another can be attained through another mission known as "Zealous Overreach.".
There are additional weapons you get if you take on some cool, challenging quests!

The Fang's Rifle is available as a reward after finishing the "Legacy of the Fang" quest. There are two places you might find this weapon. First you'll find Maaliya within Va'ruun camps. To grab it, kill her!
Complete "The Scaled Citadel." This is the last level and as you're approaching the ending there's a Science Crate you can find The Speaker's Judgment in there.

Vortex Grenades

Along with all the weapons, the Shattered Space DLC also adds a brand-new feature to Starfield gameplay: Vortex Grenades. You get a new method of fighting and getting your foes in a challenging way!

After completing "The Promised, Broken" quest, players will finally have a way to get and craft Vortex Grenades. There is more than one type of grenade, offering some interesting varieties to get! If you get them, you'll have an interesting assortment, from exploding grenades, to ones that freeze your enemies and everything in between. The materials needed are not difficult to obtain. Keep playing and killing the enemies around and you'll eventually have everything you need to get through.
