Those seeking out Starfield's universe, can be prepared to see some unique species - they come in a wide range of shapes, forms and, often a striking sense of uniqueness - but the fact remains that those creatures are largely non-intelligent - those are animals.
There's a general feeling among many players who feel that there should be some form of intelligent alien life that players can discover in this universe, as they seek out a new frontier. Fans who feel that there is a lack of such creatures. But there are several alien creatures to discover – as the series Features those organisms who are simply unable to communicate – and will attack on sight.
As those who have already been engaged with the series will be aware: the Catalog is one of the key parts of this gameplay, with those who have been making those discoveries of new worlds.
The Catalog in this game offers a different kind of approach, one that has been criticized by some players who are looking for something that is more comprehensive. Fans seeking out those new and engaging elements, those who might feel like that release needs to offer something that has a sense of Discovery.
There are some who have been eager to see a larger scale version of the game - and those are some of the concerns raised - those questions about the type of Aliens who have been introduced - but it doesn’t seem as though the game has a broad range of those species that might have been introduced into the series.
A key aspect of those concerns: fans will often feel that Bethesda should have included those organisms that are more distinct in appearance - as players seek to explore those worlds that often have that sense of uniqueness - that’s what gives those worlds a feeling of authenticity.
Fans have been quick to pick up on the potential of a catalog: That catalog is something that would be able to track each Discovery, and provide those elements of information about what creatures - what plants - and what types of species you can find as you explore in the game.
The fact remains: it does not have those tools to track those finds that many players have come to rely on - in the form of a catalog - which is something that's been in several popular RPGs – making it a more interactive and rewarding way of experiencing that Exploration - but there’s always a hope for those elements.
It’s hard to say - but one of the biggest concerns: those are the creatures who are often going to make it hard for players to progress through the series. Terrormorphs a major threat. While the creatures don't appear to be so threatening – they do require players to use those resources.
One of the questions about Terrormorphs : just how difficult are they to take on – with some players finding them relatively easy to handle, and others discovering that they can present a very formidable challenge.
