The Silent Hill 2 Remake has arrived, and with it, a whole new batch of puzzles! One of the most talked about puzzles in the game is the Music Box puzzle in the Lakeview Hotel, and if you're looking for some tips and tricks this article's got you covered!

To even start, you need a few things.

First, you need two keys. The Ornamental Key and The Room 312 Key are your entry into this puzzle!
They’re both in the same spot- the Check-In Room, on the 1F floor.

Once you've got your Keys. You can start the Music Box. What will you find?

Finding the Figurines

Three platforms inside the Lakeview Hotel Music Box Puzzle in Silent Hill 2 Remake Image

The Music Box itself isn't that mysterious. It contains some empty slots to add three Figurines. And once those are all ready for use you will be able to test things out!

But finding those Figurines is where things get interesting!

The Snow White Figurine: This is located in Room 202! That's only half the battle because to unlock this area you must first solve the Mirror Puzzle!
The Cinderella Figurine is located inside the fireplace in the Conference Room (which is found on Floor 3F) which is even more of a challenge, as to gain entry you must get The Key to Room 207 and The Fireplace Key, found inside Room 207 and in the Garden gazebo.
The Little Mermaid Figurine can be obtained at the Venus Tears Bar in the Lakeview Hotel’s basement. Be careful! This is right in front of a jukebox so you'll want to look out, but you'll need to make your way around using some special "Pump Valves" in the Employee Section first.

There's some danger when playing Silent Hill 2 Remake! After you find this final figurine, you may find that some really scary and hostile elements will show up! Be prepared to be jumped and prepare to defend yourself! This is what makes this puzzle, so hard, not just for your mind!

Solving the Music Box Puzzle

Now that you’ve collected all the figurines, you need to put them in order inside the Music Box and put the plates and Keys in the right spot. If you get it wrong, just start over! The game really gives players the ability to work through this. So no fear if you don't have it perfectly done the first time around!

Cinderella
Little Mermaid

There is an area that will light up and this shows if things were set properly, so don’t feel frustrated! Make sure that everything looks good and when ready hit the button! When that happens you should be given the 3F Corridor Key.
