Codsworth is a Companion Unlike Others.
Although Codsworth's "final form" seems like something that could only be attained with the help of mods, MrAchilles stated that every adjustment and alteration was made with the Automatron DLC pack which includes hundreds of new pieces for Fallout 4's robot avatars. Originally considered as a poor addition-on when it debuted 2016, the Sole Survivor's extension allows them to transform their mechanical allies into a range of other forms. Mr. Achilles's rendition of Codsworth is only one of various ways to enhance the Mr. Handy.
Although it's not absolutely vital to revamp Codsworth, it's highly advised that players who wish to maintain Mr. Handy at their side enhance upon his methods. Thanks in great part to his deadly buzzsaw, which causes an amazing amount of damage, the robot is a great friend early in the game. Unfortunately, he's often outmatched if stronger foes start to surface, hence certain Automaton upgrades will help to guarantee his long-term survival.
Though which ones are best and worth acquiring, Fallout 4 offers some excellent DLCs combining settlement building and questlines.
Community-created Mods also let Fallout 4 users wishing to make Codsworth even more distinctive do so. Thanks to the popularity of Prime Video's Fallout series, more and more add-ons are produced daily; Bethesda's beloved RPG is among the most modded games on sharing center Nexus Mods. Someone would have developed a whole model swap using an actual T-800 that would have repaced the nice Mr. Handy. It seems nearly certain.

One Dedicated Fallout 4 Player Shares Their Terrifying Version of Codsworth That Looks Equipped to Take on Any Raiders That Dares to Draw Near
Starting off as a calm Mr. Handy who is happy to aid the Sole Survivor, Codsworth's Fallout 4 trip sees one player transform the robot into a terrible Terminator-esque machine of death. Though clearly not his main purpose, Codsworth is able to hold his own in battle even though he hasn't been fitted with several upgrades and improvement. Unlike the more destructive Mr. Gutsy variation, he lacks the kind of firepower needed to destroy a small squad of raiders on his lonesome.
User MrAchilles posted their terrifying rendition of Codsworth and the substantially altered companion looks nearly exactly like a scary Automaton from Helldivers 2 over on Reddit.
A Terrifying Improvement: Codsworth Turns into a Terminator
His three appendanges have been pared down to two, with each arm displaying a lethal saw blade and a set of claws, respectively; his levitation mechanism has been replaced with a pair of fair-sized, armored legs. The inclusion of the skull faceplate, which fits perfectly into the Protectron-like chest chamber, gives Codsworth a hefty Necron from the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Many Fallout 4 gamers enjoy Codsworth as a friend; this change shows how a regular robot companion may become an amazing and horrible monster. Given the several choices the Automaton DLC offers, this is an interesting idea. The ability of the game to let players play about with its universe is very amazing.
