Nintendo fans are always on the lookout for the next big thing! Recently, there was a big leak and everyone thought they had the scoop about the next Nintendo Switch.

The FCC Filing and Nintendo's Big Surprise

When Nintendo files with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) everyone pays attention! So, a new FCC filing set everyone buzzing! It had been thought that it was going to be the announcement for the new Switch 2! That’s not exactly what the whole reveal came to.

What came to light instead, as confirmed on Twitter by Tom Warren, was a super interesting new Nintendo device: The Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo. This shows up with a new video released by Nintendo of America on their YouTube channel!

Nintendo Alarmo:

It appears that the gaming giant decided to move in a slightly different direction this time around! You won't see any games or consoles as you are looking to get a new way to get ready for the day. Nintendo Alarmo uses sounds to help you wake up each day, using music from your favorite Nintendo games! There is nothing wrong with nostalgia. It takes those classic gaming sounds, mixing things up, so the sounds you get change based on how much you are moving about.

The Price:

Those looking to get one need to keep their wallets full. You'll pay a hefty sum of $99.99 and may want to go to Nintendo New York, if you are nearby!

This amazing reveal, is nothing like the console. A product many fans have been waiting on for so long!

While there was no word of the Switch 2 on Nintendo's big release, it’s pretty likely that they will show that off at a later time. Rumors for the Nintendo Switch 2 have popped up for ages. People are pretty certain that it might come out soon! Even if it was planned for 2024 some delays pushed its expected release to 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 Potential

There is an exciting potential. For now, Nintendo fans are keeping a close eye on how the Nintendo Switch performs during the holiday season! New Nintendo games are making it a worthwhile buy, even giving it additional push towards the future releases! This upcoming series looks great too.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom came out. It looks to continue what fans adore from Zelda! This release was well received and made its mark!
Then there is the Super Mario Party Jamboree
Lastly, the much anticipated game Mario & Luigi: Brothership

Fans are pumped about this series of great games, however. All things Nintendo also continue to evolve! Nintendo could release a Switch 2 as we head to the end of the year, a truly interesting concept! There's also a thought it might be in the early 2025

Overall this isn't what many hoped to learn but, some fans are loving this new and creative product and we can really look to the success of Nintendo as they evolve.

Will Nintendo continue their reign at the top or has their newest invention already flopped. Fans will keep their eye open! Will the price prove worthwhile? We just might need to keep an open mind as it comes time to make an assessment, this is all just speculation!
