Short on cash? Sell enemy loot! It's simple. Not your best items of course– you’ll want those! – but that other loot; those frequent drops are surprisingly enough to help keep those financial needs taken care of! It might not be glamorous, but these are surprisingly capable at increasing early-game Reeve generation!

Take time before visiting any merchants to generate sufficient quantities; and consider visiting locations and dungeons frequently. This process gets way better after getting a specific Archetype. Let’s find out exactly what that is!

(Check Dustman1028's video!). To unleash serious Reeve farming, activate the Merchant Archetype! It’s unlocked by finding Brigitta (in Grand TradSunlumeo Street) after “A Bullish Embargo Hunt.”  This totally awesome Archetype uses Reeve for attacks – insane!– plus gives a higher Reeve drop rate when using the Protagonist! This unlocks Alchemy– a game-changer. You need more Wisdom to unlock Merchant– but it’s completely worth it. That Alchemy skill makes it seriously awesome!

Great early spots are: Tradia Desert (enemies respawn!), Belaga Corridor, and Abandoned Tomb.  Look for Red Crystals – more amazing spots are near them!

Mid-Game & Beyond: Selling MAG and Bounties

An example of the exchange rate going up in Metaphor ReFantazio Image

Now for a complex one: you could always sell your MAG at the MAG Exchange.   But keep this in mind.  Farming MAG is essential; used to get Archetypes. So don’t do it unless you really must. But getting your Brigitta to Rank 3 or higher will pay dividends; generating even greater amounts!

Those high levels of bond mean greater MAG exchange rates (much higher if at Rank 6); it also is a highly strategic method; especially if done during bad weather (better exchange rate). Those rates also change daily!

Later game: Bounties. Get those completed!  Kokamordos? Major Reeve reward! That is seriously effective; and obtaining those increases via upgrading the bond increases their reward values (getting Catherina's bond to Rank 3 gives better returns for doing the work. It matters for completing that later endgame).

Whether you're starting out or tackling those final bosses, you'll need a plan to generate sufficient resources for power boosting and this kind of continuous strategy is a key element that can make you totally dominate the game. Farming those earlier areas effectively lets you get that critical Merchant Archetype, a strategy key for continuous development, that massive power up; which is why focusing on the early areas would help immensely.  Mastering those Bounties unlocks major end-game Reeve; making the process super smooth, with much easier development later, creating an exponential reward in the final portion. With the proper understanding of each method, these strategies combine seamlessly for long term development; thus, generating those vast reserves for continuous upgrades that you might just need to stay competitive.
