James Bond Game Trilogy by Hitman Creators: IO Interactive's 007 Adventure

License to Thrill: Hitman's Creator Aims for a James Bond Trilogy!

IO Interactive's James Bond Game: A Trilogy in the Making?

Get ready, Bond fans! IO Interactive, the geniuses behind the awesome Hitman: World of Assassination Trilogy, are working on a new James Bond game. And if it’s a hit, they want a full trilogy.   This is insane! That alone generates considerable excitement considering the excellent reputation this production studio enjoys within its niche!

IO Interactive's known for those amazing sandbox levels— massive areas filled with secrets and awesome emergent gameplay that makes every experience unique and satisfying!   This has already set many of us up and already created major anticipatory expectations before this game's even out. While the creators have an established legacy within creating and distributing games owned by their own company – this game uses a licensed intellectual property. It’s exciting, and could be really, really big. Let's see exactly just why they would make an entire trilogy out of this!

In a chat with IGNIO Interactive's Hakan Abrak confirmed those rumors: “What's exciting about that project is that we actually got to do an original story. So it's not a gamification of a movie. It's completely beginning and becoming a story, hopefully for a big trilogy out there in the future.”  This is just fantastic!  They confirmed a completely original story; completely separate from any existing movies.

That's not all he mentioned. He revealed a completely original James Bond— not based on any actor but an entirely new character created from scratch: A “young” Bond incorporating all the iconic aspects of the famous secret agent. That's pretty awesome and already generates more hype around those expectations concerning how it might differ from prior attempts at bringing that same James Bond experience into a different format – videogames; adding elements from other media could provide another interesting point. Let's explore just why that entire aspect generates some important expectations.

Why IO Interactive Is the PERFECT Choice for a Bond Trilogy

It's really important to emphasize why this is important!  IO Interactive's experience creating stealth-action games is insane! The recent Hitman games— incredible level designs, amazing stealth mechanics, rewarding gameplay – that alone already shows what could possibly come to life in that same framework – with the same core engine, adding new technologies and methods – making that unique James Bond game experience come alive in amazing ways!

It really seems fitting!  Imagine: You're in a exotic place; your task?   Assassinate the target unseen! It would seem very logical how the core gameplay loop could function, using gadgets, stealth, and amazing disguises; making for another incredible entry in this established series of amazing videogames. Adding the entire trilogy is exciting; especially if the plot's really well thought-out; providing even more incentive and creating another very strong series which fans might just eagerly await and make it another critically successful series which people might really value over that long run, despite using licensed content.

Screen Rant's Take: Embrace the Camp, IO!

Hitman (2007) Movie Poster Image

Personally, I think this entire concept sounds insanely awesome and something fans would truly embrace!   I totally loved Daniel Craig's James Bond movies, however I hope IO Interactive goes back to those earlier, somewhat cheesy versions of Bond, incorporating all those awesome tropes fans already associate with it; using both the more straightforward stealth elements with added bits of humor; it is easy to imagine another great entry into this famous spy universe. That particular game design from Hitman lends itself to both; so incorporating these styles might bring forth another level of amazing and interesting elements!

I would've liked those creative explosive rubber duckies– the silliness is exactly the thing to highlight that sense of campiness many have come to associate with older James Bond iterations which would’ve enhanced it more – while simultaneously maintaining that serious undercurrent. I really do want another great James Bond game. IO Interactive? They totally have the chance!

This game holds insane potential and an extremely huge market opportunity to recapture what many have fondly associated with that secret agent persona. IO Interactive’s reputation for excellence coupled with the use of a much-loved IP with incredibly broad recognition guarantees this game might become exceptionally popular!

A successful game makes that trilogy a reality! That prospect alone guarantees everyone keeps watching. Those early comments from IO Interactive’s executives suggest another seriously epic venture; providing another excellent and critically successful release that could continue for many future installments!
