The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which is an important Houston tradition and features live entertainment has announced its 2025 concert schedule. This information includes everything from ticket release dates to all of the performers featured during the shows run.
The 2025 lineup was released on Thursday January 9 at 7 pm through an official stream on KHOU 11+ showcasing the new talent that will hit the stage. The dates are March 4 through March 23, and features different genre themes throughout the schedule.
KHOU 11+ has made a way for the line up to be streamed directly using Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV. With these platforms users were able to find out who the performers will be as soon as information was made public. With no fee for usage this adds even more accessibility to content.
The new line up for 2025 has notable performers including many fan favorites from different types of genre to include: country pop, rock, R&B and even regional Mexican performances which is all aimed at showcasing the wide culture within the City of Houston.
With a wide variety of genre’s represented that are familiar in the City of Houston as the different days are specifically marked for each type. From country to rock, regional Mexican, R&B this will create high entertainment for those who attend in person. There are 9 new artist debut appearances this year that make the new line up intriguing.
There are 9 new comers making their debut on stage including Post Malone as a wild card and the popular band AJR. Also making a much anticipated debut is Grupo Frontera for Go Tejano day along with the beloved returning artists like Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley. These new appearances show growth while bringing back those the viewers enjoy as part of the rodeo experience.
The single day tickets will be for sale starting January 16 2025 with two waves of sales. The 10:00 am sale will be for dates March 4th through March 13th with the following Ticket sales at 2:00 pm for the dates March 14th to March 23rd. However season tickets and BBQ competition tickets are available now prior to the new release.
Tickets for the single performances can be found at rodeohouston.com/tickets using the time schedule mentioned before. For those who do not wish to miss the date, multi day passes are also available ahead of the release.
Bun B’s Birthday Bonanza will be held on March 7th to coincide with the annual Black Heritage Day. This specific performance has generated great hype as fans can anticipate to hear songs that range in the many different aspects of his life. Bun B is well known to give back to the City of Houston which made his role here a welcomed addition.
The line up will include classic fan favorites that bring the usual nostalgic feel while attending a Houston Rodeo such as: Reba McEntire marking 20 total appearances Brad Paisley who is at his 17th event and even the group Brooks & Dunn at their 21st Rodeo. Each with a variety of hits that have touched many over time. Also Luke Bryan is set to close out the season.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo started in 1932 as the “Houston Fat Stock and Livestock Exposition”. The focus was on preserving the Texas Cattle industry during the Great Depression which is a rich and diverse background to build upon every year since.
