It was announced that 343 Industries is making some amazing, and super interesting changes, shifting its development from the Slipspace Engine, to a powerful, popular, and very well known engine- Unreal Engine 5. And they aren't stopping there! 343 Industries changed their name, and to give us a big hint as to how things are progressing announced that "Halo Studios" has even more in the works. This means the studio is gearing up for several big new Halo games!

What Went Wrong?

If you think about how epic this franchise is, you know that it was not just Halo Infinite, a truly groundbreaking game that wasn't all that great for everyone, fans have not only enjoyed this incredible game but have had a bit of a wait, and perhaps a touch of sadness, since it was released back in 2021. That might be just a little too long for those hardcore fans! In fact, a large chunk of the fanbase started feeling disconnected. In fact, fans, might remember 343 Industries trying to bring some new exciting experiences but these developments might have taken 6 years for a somewhat lackluster launch. If anything, this is really a testament to how they have listened!

If they weren't making a move and acknowledging the struggles and giving fans hope then this might be something worth worrying about.

The Promise of Halo Studios:

The team at Halo gave it a try, but unfortunately, they needed to make the difficult choice of cancelling "Halo Infinite's couch co-op feature.

It's an exciting time for the franchise, though, and the team at Halo are bringing new, more thrilling elements that will continue to delight. There may be an even larger fanbase that wants the option to be more engaged with these big titles. You can even get more updates to stay current about all the great new developments!

You might not realize how impactful Halo has become and what makes this change so awesome. One of the most popular franchises. It looks like Xbox has some real gems for us in gaming and what this move from 343 studios might create is a legacy! To celebrate the Halo Universe.
