The incantation’s pretty weak; The weapon is amazingly powerful – it’s the bestStrength/Faithweapon in the game – particularly using its uniqueShadow Sunflower Headbuttskill. It really works in tandem for easily shattering that poise in multiple attacks across various encounters in PVE and PVP contexts!
This is one that surprised me! DefeatCommander Gaius, claim this. You'll then have to choosetheSword Lance(heavy thrusting sword) or theBlades of Stoneincantation. WhileBlades of Stonedeals massive poise damage; this is not extremely valuable against opponents that avoid these aspects by easily sidestepping them; whereasSword Lance’s Spinning Gravity Thrustis utterly insane;especially when using aBlood Infusion! The damage ticks build bleed, perfect forNew Game Plus, and especially when using other multi-hit talismans!
BeatRennala, you can choose between theCarian Regal ScepterandRennala’s Full Moonsorcery.TheRennala’s Full Moonis okay; but lacks some features (unlikeRanni’s Dark Moon) which lacks a key frostbite buff! That said;Carian Regal Scepteris truly superior. The ultimate intelligence staff! It lacks downsides which are included in other comparable high-tier options likeLusat's Glintstone Staff.Its unique spin weapon skill is a hidden gem, and is an incredibly surprising asset even if many players might underestimate this, this really works and should not be underestimated.
Taking downRadahngivesthreeoptions. Those are: theGreatsword of Radahn (Lord), theGreatsword of Radahn (Light), and theLight of Miquellaincantation.The incantation is generally ineffective and thoseRadahnswords both use same moveset. ThatGreatsword of Radahn (Lord)wins due to this one key aspect that the other option misses: itsPromised Consortskill's a massive AoE damage attack that is unbelievably effective! The high-level poise makes this an absolutely monstrous and unexpected winner.
Get this fromMessmer the Impaler. It’s so good; it gives you the best new dexterity weapon (Spear of the Impaler; which has huge fire damage and an amazingly powerful unique skill) alongside an awesome fire incantation (Messmer's Orb; really, really powerful for easily removing massive swathes of lower tier enemies using AoE abilities)!Duplicating this Remembrance is strongly recommended.
You defeatMohg, this is your reward. Choosing the awesomeMohgwyn's Sacred Spearis better than that completely worthlessBloodboonincantation; both the weapon and incantation apply bleed! That spear has a hugely powerful, massive AoE attack! (TheBloodboon Ritualskill); it adds additional buffs that further enhance its impact! Plus,its incredibly useful sprint attack that can combo-kill many enemies across that PVE content!
FromRykard. ThatRykard’s Rancorincantation requires ridiculously high faith AND intelligence—completely unrealistic during that period! Go for theBlasphemous Blade;it's that ultimatePVEweapon; the strongest weapon found in this game! It has insanely good scaling. TheTaker's Flamesskill even heals you;the additional fire damage and utility creates so many unexpected but enormously helpful opportunities, creating unique experiences especially useful when upgrading additional talismans!
Taking downMetyrlets you choose eitherStaff of the Great Beyond(a glintstone staff) or theGazing Finger(a colossal weapon). While the weapon's strong; thisStaff of the Great Beyonddoes something unlike other catalysts in this entire game – this lets you castbothsorceries and incantations simultaneously. That ability's great; very useful during thoseNew Game Plusruns.

This one item easily justifies itself due to how this specific weapon affects many other game aspects like those upgrade costs for many important items, gear and overall experience upgrades.
