Get ready, Disney fans! Disney Dreamlight Valley is about to get a whole lot bigger (and more magical!). Gameloft just unveiled its roadmap, extending all the way to summer 2025. And that includes a brand-new paid expansion called "Storybook Vale," bringing tons of awesome new content that fans are going to love.

This exciting Update contains brand new Characters, exciting new environments to explore, and many additions. That's not all. We’ll also talk about changes. They announced something rather important that may concern several of you out there who might want those in-game items and extras.

Storybook Vale Expansion: Two Parts of Epic Disney Adventure

‘Disney Dreamlight Valley’ Sets ‘Storybook Vale’ Paid Expansion as Video Game Shutters Gold Edition Image

Storybook Vale will drop in two parts on November 20th. This new paid expansion adds three fantastic new biomes; and also introduces several popular and iconic characters!

Part 1: Welcome to the Vale (November 20th): This features Flynn Rider (Tangled), Merida (Brave), and Hades (Hercules), alongside Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty); who shows up as a preview of what is to come; leaving fans wanting far more, while this specific portion contains various references from that prior expansion to connect and enhance those initial points that made the prior storyline successful; showing clear design continuity.
Part 2: The Unwritten Realms (Summer 2025): This promises an epic storyline around the missing princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), starring the ever-villainous Maleficent in a key role.

The storyline itself surrounds restoring this mystical land while working with all those iconic characters. It hints at hidden realms beneath; with mysterious adventures and lots of Disney magic.

New Biomes, Companions, and a Nifty New Gadget!

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next expansion adds Hades and Maleficent Image

The storyline might seem very typical, but there’s other cool additions. The expansion comes with three amazing new Biomes:

The Bind: A dark academia-inspired zone for exploration!
Ever After: A magical mushroom fairy forest.
Mythopia: An ancient Greek/Roman mythology-based section!

And guess what? That includes several brand-new companions!

Plus a shiny new tool, the Royal Net, for capturing adorable papercraft animals called Snippets! And it only gets better.
