Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Petition for Tiana's Redesign

One of the most anticipated additions to Disney Dreamlight Valley has come and gone but some players aren't happy! Disney's animated princess, Tiana is an exciting part of the world.

The big, awesome "Dapper Delights" update added so many interesting additions, with Tiana as the big new arrival. It looks like this event wasn't exactly as big a success for Gameloft.

While there are plenty of positive aspects, it's safe to say not all fans of the game felt this update was what they were looking for, so some feel the game devs. should make a few big changes to this princess' image.

Gameloft might hear about a growing petition that was put on Change.org by Christina Dombrowski-Smith.

This petition called for more players to help! That would give Gameloft the opportunity to redesign Tiana to make sure she is looking the part and as iconic as she has been over many Disney projects!

How Has Tiana Been Criticized?

Some of the things that made Tiana's arrival different for Fans.

She is not as similar to the animation she appears in from the animated movie "The Princess And The Frog," with the characters face features.
Even the hair and her clothing have gotten some criticism! So they're requesting a big change! And it's not the only time.
Gameloft has been given this before! Fans even felt the same when they debuted Belle's appearance, saying that the characters face, height, and body structure were too different from Disney's take on this classic.
Elsa, who's known for the animated film "Frozen" has gotten similar complaints too!

How Does It Compare to Other Video Games?

It's a tricky spot when developers put so much effort into bringing these Disney characters into a video game world. There are so many things to keep in mind, from design, animation to other elements, which helps keep the game compelling for its players! Even though the characters can sometimes look a bit odd or look more cartoony. They seem to keep the same spirit! Gameloft even has had many fans that really enjoy the game. And to add more value to it, Gameloft keeps bringing on more Disney icons that will further expand and add depth. It's also part of the big story with "Disney Dreamlight Valley to make this an ever growing game that people can explore.

However, "Disney Dreamlight Valley" does look different as these animated stars go into 3D versions!

In the petition it does call out a lot of the criticism about how much the animation's Transition did not transfer very well!

That does not mean it is going to change anything right away! Fans have hope that this time Gameloft, will make these major changes to this beloved Character!

But you never know if these adjustments will really make a difference. With all the time that "Disney Dreamlight Valley" has, it may even offer better updates to Tiana in the near future.
