Regardless, there’s a loot waiting to be won; both options provide valuable illithid powers, but only the conversation gets you a cool bonus: Ring of Truthfulness— it helps those people who love those moments involving figuring out what exactly people mean.

2. Stop the Presses: A Time-Sensitive Quest to Boost Your Reputation

Talk to Ettvard Needle (Baldur's Mouth) for this tricky one: this urgent mission requires a response that involves time, needing some players to understand how to complete this particular storyline without causing problems elsewhere! He explains that you are being slandered! You need to head down, into that basement (the elevator) and sneak through the various areas and puzzles without turning hostile. Replace that negative article! Success results in more favorable treatment around town!

1. Impress the Murder Tribunal: A Bloody Path to Legendary Gear

Playing an evil character?  This Act 3 quest (related to "Get Orin's Netherstone") rewards insane loot and delivers crazy Bhaal backstory (Cult of Bhaal)! The journey is brutal.
