Who Is Allistair Tenpenny in Fallout: London?
Ever play Fallout 3 and encounter the creepy Allistair Tenpenny? Well, he makes a comeback in Fallout: London - it's totally trippy! You'll find a much younger version of this Fallout 3 character in this Fallout: London mod.
Why Did They Bring Back Allistair?
- This is the crazy thing about the Fallout universe, they love bringing back familiar characters - and that's just awesome! We saw tons of those familiar Fallout 3 characters make a comeback in Fallout 4.
Tenpenny's Old Tricks
- You probably know Allistair from Tenpenny Tower. In Fallout 3, he's rich and super selfish, but even at that age he still had some mean, mean ideas - even offering up some cash to the Lone Wanderer if they would bomb the peaceful settlement of Megaton to help with his view!
So Is He a Bad Guy in Fallout: London Too?
- You betcha. He is! He's still being his greedy self in this Fallout 4 mod. It's almost like that bad karma just stayed with him, because Allistair in the British Wastelands has another messed-up goal. This time it's the London Eye - which they called the Millennium Wheel before it got messed up, - that's the issue, and he’s demanding a bit of work to be done!
- You might be tempted to help him out for some Fallout: London quest cash, but this is one of those moments where you decide: "Will you help this guy screw over an entire settlement and get his view?"
Tenpenny is in the Gentry
But there’s a reason why this guy, who basically loves a good view and money, fits right into Fallout: London.
Here's why:
- Fallout: London's world is packed with the Gentry. These folks are pretty much like the rich, high society types that ruled London, like an aristocrat who stayed loyal to the British Government!
- Allistair Tenpenny totally fits in with them, with his selfish, powerful way of acting. He is basically the "pre-war aristocracy", and you can see him becoming someone very influential as he gets older! He might even rule a huge settlement like that of the Tenpenny Towers, in Fallout 3! That might be the way those stories are meant to link!
- In Fallout: London, this whole thing about Allistair gives us some good insight into this whole story from Fallout lore.
Now we know just why he went to Tenpenny Tower. But seeing how the story takes a twist 40 years in the past, it is really a cool insight into how a villain from an original Fallout 3 quest ends up as that super snooty character from Fallout 3! You just can't miss out on the story! Check it out for yourself!
