Why Did Captain America Apologize to Storm?
Captain America’s made a pretty big change. After all, the Avengers are supposed to be there for everyone - so what's the big deal?
The Avengers Just Had a Huge Mistake
Think about it. It’s crazy that the Avengers are actually apologizing to Storm (who’s a major part of the X-Men)! It all has to do with a series of wild events in the Marvel universe. Remember that crazy "Blood Hunt"? This led to a huge war that pretty much ended the nation of Krakoa! That’s where most mutants had a safe haven, but that place ended up getting crushed! And the Avengers couldn't step in. They’ve had a bad habit of being blind to those mutant problems - so there's been some really bad history with the Avengers and mutants!
The Avengers Got a Whole New Job
Well, after what went down, they have to rethink things. It turns out that Captain America felt really bad about what happened with Orchis, who ended up starting a blood hunt - which turned out pretty terrible for those mutants, which made things tough. And, he wants to fix everything!
- He even wants to bring Storm in as a part of the Avengers team! That's HUGE, and would help bring more mutant perspective!
The Avengers are Gonna Try To Make Amends
- You might think that's strange, but those Avengers have been called out in the past for letting stuff happen! Remember AvX? That event basically caused mutants to fight each other, and guess who had a huge part in that mess - The Avengers.
- They basically didn’t show up for those really big X-Men catastrophes! It makes you think that they weren’t even paying attention, which made mutants pretty ticked off!
Will it Actually Work?
- It's super interesting. Cap’s attitude toward those mutants has really changed. He now seems like he wants the Avengers to protect those mutants and take on that bigger responsibility. The Avengers seem to be working toward a world that includes the X-Men!
- So, will this lead to better Avengers and X-Men? Or is this all just a dream. Hopefully, it’ll really help to repair those relationships! This will also change their role - they have this responsibility to save the entire Marvel Universe! It seems like things are gonna be super interesting - there’s still that fight with the Orchis villains that is hanging over the Marvel Comics,
Captain America has changed! The Avengers need to be a little more respectful toward mutants, even in that wild, action-packed world of Marvel, where there’s so much drama - between superheroes and villains, and it’s about time Marvel Comics added a new twist and maybe fixed that super bad history. They just gotta prove they're ready for the Avengers and X-Men working together!
