1976 saw Danny Mcbride born in Statesboro, Georgia. When his low-budget indie comedy *The Foot Fist Way* was acquired by Gary Sanchez Productions run by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, he had his major break. McBride acted and co-wrote the movie as taekwondo teacher Fred Simmons.
McBride became even more well-known playing Red in *Pineapple Express*, Cody Underwood in *Tropic Thunder*, and Rico Brown in *Hot Rod*. Among McBride's most eccentric characters, washed-up Major League pitcher Kenny Powers is in the HBO comedies *Eastbound & Down* and *The Righteous Gemstones*. McBride also portrayed Tennessee in *Alien: Covenant* and a distorted self in *This is the End*.
1971 saw Walton Goggins born in Birmingham, Alabama. He first came out in the police corruption series *The Shield* of FX as Detective Shane Vendrell. This resulted in a more prominent part as the primary villain in FX's neo-western drama *Justified*. Boyd Crowder
Other TV roles for Goggins are that of The Ghoul in *Fallout* and the voice of GDA director Cecil Stedman in *Invincible*. Among his cinematic roles are Stans in *Predators*, Chris Mannix in *The Hateful Eight*, and Sonny Burch in *Ant-Man and the Wasp*. His efforts on *Justified* received an Emmy nomination.
1972 saw the birth of Kimberly Hébert Gregory in Houston, Texas. Her part in *Vice Principals* helped her to have a breakthrough. She was mostly known before to that as a theater actress.
Gregory played recurring parts as Veronica Hopkins in *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* and Kyra Hay in *Better Call Saul* elsewhere on TV. Gregory has acted in films as Tasha White in *Miss Virginia* and Nurse Barbara in the coming-of- age romance *Five Feet Apart*. Gregory had co-starred with McBride in the comic thriller *Arizona*, in a minor capacity as a debt collector.
1986 saw Georgia King born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She first broke big in the 2006 TV adaption of *Jane Eyre* playing Rosamond Oliver. She then starred in the sitcom *The New Normal* as surrogate mother Goldie Clemmons.
King has been in films like Juliet in *St. Trinary's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold*, Lady Teazle in *The Duchess*, and Harriet in *Wild Child*. She also cost Emma in the infamous box office failure *Cockneys vs Zombies*. Her other TV credits are Jess in *Vicious*, Lianne in *Devs*, and Petra Aberdeen in *Star Trek: Lower Decks*.
1974 saw Edi Patterson born in Texas City, Texas. She originally broke out in 2014 in the Kelsey Grammer/Martin Lawrence sitcom *Partners* as Veronica. After just one season, the show was shelved.
Among Patterson's film credits are Fran in *Knives Out*, Miss Aimee in *Troop Zero*, and Shirl Clarts in *Between Two Ferns: The Movie*. She played Katherine Harbor in the Netflix thriller *The Guilty*. She also appeared in the *Knuckles* spin-off series as Wanda Whipple.
1979 saw Busy Philipps born in Oak Park, Illinois. She originally broke out in the brief but highly praised drama series *Freaks and Geeks*, as Kim Kelly. Among several future stars such Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini, Martin Starr, and James Franco, the *Freaks and Geeks* cast notably launched their careers.
Philipps has starred in several well-known TV shows including Audrey Liddell in *Dawson's Creek*, Kacy Corbin in *Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles*, Laurie Keller in *Cougar Town*, and Summer Dutkowicz in *Girls5eva*. She has as Mrs. George in the musical retelling of *Mean Girls*, Duffy in *The Gift*, and Jane in *I Feel Pretty*. She also put on her own E! network discussion show, *Busy Tonight*.
1969 saw Shea Whigham born in Tallahassee, Florida. His initial shot to prominence was as Eli Thompson in the HBO criminal drama *Boardwalk Empire*. Later he portrayed Moe Dammick in *Fargo* season 3 and Joel Theriot in *True Detective* season 1.
Whigham appeared as Agent Michael Stasiak in *Fast & Furious*, *Fast & Furious 6*, and *F9*. He portrayed George, the father of Gwen Stacy in *Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse* and acted as Jasper Briggs in *Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One*. Other movie roles he played were Captain Ted Beecham in *The Wolf of Wall Street*, Gus Grissom in *First Man*, and Carl Elway in *American Hustle*.
Mike O'Gorman plays North Jackson's history teacher Bill Hayden, who is Gamby's opponent for Snodgrass's devotion. O'Gorman most famously as Luther Tenet in the TV version of *True Lies* and Jacob Brianson in * Ted Lasso*.
Sheaun McKinney plays Dayshawn, the cafeteria employee that Gamby often confides in. McKinney has landed other TV roles including Wayne in *Great News*, Karvel in *Snowfall*, and Malcolm Butler in *The Neighborhood*.
Ashley Spillers plays North Jackson's secretary Janice Swift, who is based on In *Last Vegas*, Spillers portrayed Elizabeth; in *Two Step*, Amy; and in the Netflix comedy *Father of the Year*.
Susan Park is Christine Russell, the wife of Lee. Park also starred Judy Kim in ' Always Be My Maybe*, Dr. Sally Hong in *Life in Pieces*, Connie Chen in *Fresh Off the Boat*, and Linda Park in *Fargo* season 1.
Played by June Kyoto Lu is Lee's demanding mother-in--law, Mi Cha. She earlier starred Mrs. Choi in *Lady in the Water* and White Tiger in *Big Trouble in Little China*.
James M. Connor is portraying Martin Seychelles, the drama instructor at North Jackson High. Connor also acted as a Subway representative in *Community* and Deputy Commissioner Podolski in *Brooklyn Nine-Nine*.
Robin Bartlett stars as North Jackson's stuck-up English instructor Octavia LeBlanc. Playing Tina Schildkraut in *The Fabelmans*, Bridget Kearns in *Shutter Island*, and Debbie Buchman in *Mad About You*, Bartlett is well-known.
As Nash, the new principal hired in season 2, Dale Dickey plays Dickey also acted Beverly in the TV reboot of *A League of Their Own* and Rose Marie in the Netflix drama *Unbelievable*.
Brian Tyree Henry stars Dascious Brown, the estranged spouse of Dr. Brown. Henry is best known for playing Paper Boi in *Atlanta*, Phastos in Marvel Studios’ *Eternals*, and Bernie Hayes in the *MonsterVerse*.
Fisher Stevens as Brian Biehn: Fisher Stevens appears in *Vice Principals* season 2 as Brian Biehn, a successful novelist who begins dating Amanda after she breaks up with Neal. Stevens most famously plays Ben in the *Short Circuit* films. Additionally he portrayed Hugo Baker in *Succession* and Gabriel Kovac in *The Good Fight*.
