The Newest Robin from DC is Growing Up Way Too Fast
Batman's deranged backup identity, Zur-En-Arrh, set out to replace Bruce as the lone Caped Crusader for the DC Universe. Bruce's son Damian was persuaded by the new Dark Knight to accompany him in bringing Gotham City under control. Robin withdrew, though, when he discovered how harsh Zur-En-Arrh's techniques truly were. Unknown to Damian, Zur-En-Arrh already had a backup ready to cover as the new Boy Wonder. Bruce was cloned for Zur-En-Arrh to act as his Robin. Along with having all of Batman's fighting ability, this Robin was the spitting image of Bruce.
Regarding Robins, hardly many—if any—had as bad a bargain as Jason Todd. The day the Joker killed him, cemented in stone his road to become the Red Hood. Still, this new Boy Wonder has been given an apparently worse hand. Zur-En-Arrh went against nature to have Robin grow up quickly and designed his Robin only to assist the corrupted Dark Knight's war. This Robin is destined to dash through his life at the blink of an eye as Zur-En-Arrh couldn't be bothered to slow down his sidekick's advanced aging.
DC's New Robin's Life Will Be Over Before It Begins
One cannot dispute Red Hood's experiences as Robin was a dream. Though pain isn't a competition, Jason at least wasn't developed as a weapon of war. Zur-En-Arrh didn't give a damn for his Robin's safety; he merely wanted a companion to assist him bring the earth to order. Now nothing prevents the new Robin from maturing at an erratic pace. Red Hood might have had a second shot at life, but DC's new Robin is hardly receiving a first one.

Batman comes upon the young man attacking Bruce for what he and the Bat-Family did to Zur-En-Arrh. As Robin's emotions start to overpower him, Batman both consoles and restraints him. Batman investigates his clone and learns how youthful hero Zur-En-Arrh trained and conditioned using Batman's memory. Bruce sadly also finds that although Zur-En-Arrh sped Robin's aging process to prepare him for battle, he lacked any safeguards to stop it.
