During his Marvel run, Jason Aaron fundamentally changed the Thor franchise; today he is poised to do the same for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fans started dream booking a crossover between the Turtles and the God of Thunder right away when Aaron was named TMNT's next writer. During their chat with Aaron, Looper asked which character could lift Mjolnir to acknowledge this. Aaron said, "This is how I feel:

In The Immortal Thor #5, Thor enumerated the five traits required to raise his hammer: compassion, temperance, dignity, wisdom, and humility. Master Splinter has always shown each of these virtues for forty years, and he has worked to inculcate these values in his sons wherever he had opportunity. Restrained from ever going too far in battles, is noble enough to sacrifice himself, is sensitive even to his foes, and, as a teacher, provides wisdom while yet being humble enough to learn from his students. Though many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have lifted Thor's hammer, Splinter stays at the top of the list.

Set to introduce the TMNT franchise for IDW, Eisner Award-winning writer Jason Aaron is guiding the Turtles into a new era. Aaron is well-known for his contributions to Thor's backstory as well as for his earlier redesign of the venerable Avenger.
Aaron conjectured in an interview with Looper on which series character could lift Thor's legendary weapon Mjolnir. Longtime Ninja Turles fans should not be surprised that the author named Master Splinter as the franchise's most suited figure for wielding Mjolnir.
A New Age for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The first glimpse at a mystery new vigilante called the Nightwatcher is revealed in the Free Comic Book Day 2024 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle special. The person of the enigmatic figure is yet unknown. The look of the new character marks a new phase for the show, now under Jason Aaron's care.
It makes perfect sense as to why the ninja rat would be the clear response to the issue when readers consider Splinter's finest traits and mix them with the ones required to raise the hammer.

Linked with the legendary land of Asgard, Thor is a Marvel Comics hero who uses thunder's force to defeat his enemies. Though the moniker mostly relates to Thor Odinson, several other characters also assume the role of God of Thunder, including Jane Foster, his love interest. Odin is presented as a physically strong hero with amazing power who usually uses the dwarven made hammer, Mjolnir.
Examining Thor's mythos makes one abundantly aware of how his supporters view him. Thor is a multifarious character representing more than only physical power and a link to the force. Thor is a sign of a decent hero and a representation of good against bad.
