The Thing's Power Level: From Cosmic Crash to Hulk-Level Strength

The Thing, one of the most iconic characters from Marvel Comics is super tough! However, if we're talking all things about strength in comics? There are plenty of other superheroes who put him to shame when it comes to the level of superhero prowess!

The Thing's Amazing Strength

When you look at the Fantastic Four! This hero really does pack some serious punch, which means there is one incredible scene where he was caught in a tough spot. While the rest of the crew didn't help him. That scene was pretty amazing!

When the Thing faced the villain, Fasaud (from Fantastic Four #310, written by Steve Englehart and illustrated by Keith Pollard)! It seemed as if Fasaud had a serious scheme, launching a rocket to strike every spot on the planet and take control! What he had was the power to do it. What made this situation so stressful was that the Thing had to act as a "human shield" for Earth! In the heat of the action, he actually boarded the rocket to escape and to make sure Fasaud’s evil plan wouldn't come true! That meant a real battle in the cosmos!

With his plan disrupted, Fasaud was defeated! You'd think that the Thing was in the clear right? No! His plan failed as the rocket lost its power, the hero crashed back onto Earth!

A cosmic collision like no other, right? The crash almost had him dead in a matter of moments.

A New Level Of Strength:

There's no easy way to describe the way the Thing came out of this encounter!

He might have gotten super close to death, and when The Thing crashed, he was caught in a shower of "cosmic rays". It wasn't the same level of power as those fantastic four! But, in this moment of extreme stress, this helped boost his powers. It also made the Thing more awesome!

The Hulk was a big contender in those "Fantastic Four" series. You've got this classic villain Doctor Doom trying to play some mind games (or what's believed to be "smart tactics.")

Dr. Doom has an interesting goal to make his dreams come true: take over and control everything. To take control, the plan involved tricking the "Hulk." In the latest comics the Hulk, with his altered persona is an awesome figure, a force to be reckoned with, though he might be weaker compared to previous versions.

It looks like Doom was counting on this as he wanted to use Hulk, a powerhouse, in a showdown!

But, Dr. Doom didn't expect a hero to become even more potent and awesome! And this made for some super intense battles. As Fixit (The Hulk), and the Thing face off, they deliver some super epic, unforgettable and intense moments.

While the Thing, almost got the win. It was a hard fought victory. In an insane, wild showdown.

It seems that The Thing’s raw strength in this matchup helped bring the Hulk down!
But, it didn't mean this hero's job was done!

To find the true power, it appeared this was the ultimate version! This came as an impressive outcome as it made the Thing super powerful and changed everything!
