One Jedi Didn’t Give Up After Order 66: Meet Tensu Run
Order 66 – the darkest time for the Jedi in all of Star Wars – where almost every Jedi Knight was betrayed by the Clone army they had been fighting beside. Everyone who lived through it thought the Jedi were doomed and would never come back, not even Yoda.
In a recent comic called Star Wars: Inquisitors, we meet this awesome Jedi survivor who didn’t just hide away or mope about how terrible everything was, this guy took on the entire Empire! Meet Tensu Run – a Jedi survivor who’s giving those Inquisitors (the Sith-backed assassins trying to hunt down all the remaining Jedi) a real run for their money.
Tensu Run: Jedi Resistance, Hope is in the Galaxy
It looks like the Force is with Tensu. He had this idea that if the Jedi could stand up together and organize, maybe, just maybe, they could stop the Empire from getting too strong, y’know? Before Luke Skywalker ever touched a lightsaber or ran into Obi-Wan Kenobi, this Jedi had already launched a Jedi resistance group, saving people from evil prison camps, destroying Empire outposts, and just causing trouble, in the best way! He actually helped restore hope in the galaxy, something those Inquisitors were hoping to stamp out.
Tensu even went head to head with an Inquisitor – cutting off the guy's arm with his lightsaber, no sweat – sending him back to Darth Vader with a message. Basically, it's "We’re not backing down!" And the dude’s so awesome, even Darth Vader is getting worried! I can imagine Vader freaking out, shouting, "We gotta get this Tensu guy!" It's clear that Darth Vader, who usually loves to be scary, feels intimidated by Tensu Run’s boldness and commitment!
Yoda Could've Joined the Fight
I guess Yoda, who is one of the coolest, oldest Jedi masters ever, was just dealing with things in his own way – which was pretty much going into exile and feeling bad about himself for letting everything get so bad in the first place. It would have been incredible to see him team up with Tensu. We are talking the entire galaxy going back to Jedi domination. And I would have bet on Tensu and Yoda against those Imperials!
Maybe if Yoda had listened to the voice of hope that Tensu was preaching, the galaxy wouldn't have had to suffer as long under those Empire rule. But this story does a good job showing that some people don't just want to surrender. Instead, they rise to the challenge.
Why Tensu is a Jedi We Need
The Empire was all about control, fear, and killing off anyone who didn’t fall in line. Tensu, the one who never gave up Hope even though everyone thought the Jedi were toast, really stuck it to those bullies.
Think of all the crazy, exciting stuff this guy has done in his resistance. It’s even more impressive when you remember what kind of enemy he's dealing with, because he has taken on the Empire before anyone knew if those Jedi would come back. Tensu is basically a shining beacon of courage and a reminder that sometimes, hope is a choice, and a very dangerous one at that!
"Star Wars" - An Inspiring Story That Never Stops
You've seen the movies, and we know you probably can’t wait to check out more "Star Wars" – it’s been an integral part of culture for more than four decades now. George Lucas started it all, but “Star Wars" keeps going strong with Disney, those comic book releases, “The Mandalorian,” and more!
All those years after the first movies came out, there is always more going on, and Tensu’s story is a testament to the spirit of the "Star Wars" universe! We have the Rebellion, the Jedi Order, those evil Sith lords. But at the heart of all that excitement is that hope. And those inspiring moments remind everyone why we all fell in love with "Star Wars" in the first place! We all need a hero, a force of hope that inspires us! The latest “Star Wars: Inquisitors #2” comic from Marvel Comics just proves the force of this narrative.
