Tammy's Back From The Dead! Rick and Morty Comic Shocks Fans

Tammy Returns From The Dead in a Shocking Rick and Morty Comic

The Rick and Morty animated series has always been wild! You never know who's gonna show up - or be brutally wiped off the map! This new twist from the Rick and Morty Comics might just send fans spiraling.

Did Tammy Die in the Series?

  • She totally did! If you haven't watched Rick and Morty Season 1 and Rick and Morty Season 2 - you might be shocked! Tammy (Rick's longtime adversary) went down in a firefight. The series wrapped up Season 2 with this totally wild plot, leaving fans convinced she wouldn't come back to life! She'd done a lot to screw Rick over in those earlier seasons! She was the enemy from way back when and was even on the Galactic Federation - Rick's biggest rivals. Remember, she even messed with Rick's wedding to Birdperson.
  • So, what is it about her? We haven't even seen Tammy Returns From The Dead, just some whispers! How can someone that was killed by Rick just bounce back?!

How'd This Happen in the Comics?

In the Rick and Morty comics, everything gets weird, as they show Tammy as a spooky, zombie-ish ghost in Rick and Morty: Meeseeks P.I #1. She pops up, even though Rick already blasted her out of existence. Remember that awesome Mr. Meeseeks character from Rick and Morty Season 1? He was so devoted to completing whatever mission you asked, even though Meeseeks die when they succeed, right? It turns out this new Meeseeks, with a love for detective work, got called up for this big job to find a lost remote for the interdimensional cable - this one is even called a Rick and Morty Meeseeks Detective. They’re working hard to crack this case, and it just turns out he's been following leads about Tammy’s spooky antics. What an awesome detail.

Who is the "Ghost of Tammy"?

  • Is this some kind of crazy sci-fi resurrection from some crazy alternate dimension? Will she become a big problem in the series? We gotta get those details out soon!
  • It might make sense. She was a major problem for the Rick and Morty crew in those earlier seasons. There is definitely something to be said about her character as a fan favorite - especially how the creators made her so persistent.

The best part about this? We still don't have all the details yet! Is Tammy planning a full-blown Rick and Morty attack from the afterlife, and just maybe they might not be the only characters resurrected in some future issue? We've been waiting for that Rick and Morty 10th Anniversary Special - and this whole Meeseeks PI issue makes it clear that we can expect more exciting plot twists! The Rick and Morty Animated Series is still going, so what else could fans ask for?
