We can think of one special thing that's united these two legendary figures for a special moment, as it appeared they were able to do something impossible: Charlie Brown, everyone’s favorite, lovable underdog is actually able to kick the football.

Fans loved seeing Spider-Man in this special event! To help Charlie Brown! In the work of John Romita Sr. a true master artist, he brought these two amazing comics into one iconic scene! There's so much joy and anticipation for Charlie Brown and the viewer! "Peanuts" shows a funny moment with Lucy ready to pull away the football again, however, that doesn't occur in this epic scene!

This cross-over piece really shows how these two figures connect.

For a series that is filled with amazing and iconic characters, "Peanuts" brought some super funny, and somewhat bizarre, storylines to the screen. Even the biggest fans of the show might forget about the origins of one of "Peanuts' most popular, and also most recurring jokes, was the football gag. It's easy to forget that at its core, it's not about mean spiritedness or an intent to harm.

It may just be a moment of unforeseen action.

  • In its early years. The gag, was somewhat innocuous as Violet, the other iconic Peanuts character had the football in hand and ended up pulling it away from Charlie Brown as he got ready for a kick! This was actually in 1951 on the 14th of November!

That moment didn't seem very crazy until two years later as things got to an entirely new, surprising, and somewhat hilarious! A great storyline took place in the series on November 16th, 1952 when it shows how Lucy really puts Charlie Brown through his paces!

But his abilities keep things interesting and allow him to make amazing achievements that come in "Spider-Man" and the unique ability to help someone he cares for.

There's something really heartwarming that this artwork has and captures just what makes the characters so unique. It reminds everyone that no matter what happens! Those that are special to us will find a way to always bring something great and unique into their life. It seems that the great bond Spider-Man and Charlie Brown show just how much of a force these underdogs have in comics and throughout their respective series, bringing great characters together.
