Among the coolest, most gripping, and absolutely best in anime are the antagonists in My Hero Academia. Given that the show takes place in a world where practically everyone possesses superpowers, that makes sense. But few villains in the series are more horrible, cruel, and terrifying than Tomura Shigaraki.
Though Shigaraki is a nasty person, his character design is surely unique and cool. His design frightens his opponent and fits his terrible attitude. U/ghostlygreyson, a cosplayer on Reddit, created a portrayal of the nasty villain that will definitely make anyone's blood turn cold.
The cosplay picture shows u/ghostlygreyson dressed in basic black. This lets the other facets of the cosplay contrast even more sharply against the blank backdrop. Like Shigaraki's hair looks in his anime appearances, the wig is a light grayish blue and styled in a very messy manner.
Their makeup is horrifying and remarkably finely detailed. It shows Shigaraki's face covered in different wounds and scabs. Shigaraki's Decay Quirk is the cause of his skin seeming flaking off and wrinkling. It brings about this unpleasant and uncomfortable symptom. Along with patches of broken skin, the terrible character also has a big scar across his lip and one across his eye, both of which u/Ghostlygreyson's cosplay depicts with makeup. The students of Shigaraki are brilliant red. With a pair of red contact lenses, the cosplayer also mimicked this minor detail.
Apart from their own hand reaching forward in front of their chest, the set of three hands grasping at the cosplayer makes the most striking and arresting feature of this outfit. In the anime, Shigaraki is surrounded constantly by severed hands. These hands grip his shoulders, head, and torso. These appendages belong to his dead family, thus they have a sad and terrible background. Shigaraki was a rather complicated character whose life before his turn to evil was challenging. He has complex reasons for his definitely unacceptable and nasty actions. Among the first really difficult enemies Deku encountered is him. Their opposing ideas about humanity collided with one another. Tomura Shigaraki stars some of the most spectacular and intense battles in the series, and he most definitely suits his villain role. u/Ghostlygreyson has given this terrible evildoer a real-life view including even the most faint and minute elements of his notorious Decay Quirk in My Hero Academia.
