Shazam's Rock of Eternity: A Steroid Batcave
Though it has nothing on Shazam's Rock Of Eternity, Batman's Batcave is renowned for its array of tools and memorabilia. The center of all magic in the DC Universe, this enchanted hideout is bursting with potent relics that might either create or destroy the whole planet.
Billy and Mary Batson, the newest Shazams, find themselves in the Rock Of Eternity in the recent Absolute Power: Task Force VII #1 comic, frantically looking for magical weapons to fight Amanda Waller's army. Thanks to their dinosaur, Mr. Dinosaur, they come upon a painstakingly arranged "Chamber of Souvenirs." Like the Batcave, but with magic, it contains some quite legendary objects, including the magical stone the Heart of Eternium, which can grant any wish!
Better Still as a Secret Shazam's Rock of Eternity Is
The secrets of the Rock of Eternity are thankfully still rather safe. Task Force VII #1 attacks Billy and Mary, so interrupting their search for magical weaponry in Absolute Power. Fortunately, the Rock of Eternity is a maze of labyrinthine secrets yet undiscovered.
The DC Universe is about to go crazy, though, should Waller ever find the Rock's secrets. The magical arsenal kept within the Rock is immensely strong and could be readily used to change the world, rewrite reality, or unleash unbounded anarchy.
Therefore, even if it's interesting to see the Rock of Eternity get some Batcave treatment, most people would be better off if its secrets stayed secret. Who, after all, wants to see a rogue magical artifact cause the DC Universe to get inverted?
