The Boys Season 4 might bring Starlight front stage again.
Moriarty's comments suggest that the fourth Boys season would review Starlight's past as Annie January drills in on the character she used to be before joining The Seven and connects with Butcher and Hughie. Though both stories seemed to be frozen in place, this would be somewhat different from season 3, which positioned Starlight as a logical voice and hinted at her mounting annoyance with Homelander.
Though the superhero parody has dug into Starlight's origins, her backstory may be investigated more. Another interesting element cited in Moriarty's comments is Starlight's connection with her mother, Donna (Ann Cusack). Though Donna's domineering stage-mom behavior strains the relationship, the two are close. Still, Starlight loves her and sends Donna off late in season 2 to shield her from damage.
The Star of The Boys With a member of the Seven, Erin Moriarty Teases Starlight's Dark Past Revealing a New Side of the Heroic Character.
Erin Moriarty, The Boys star, teases Starlight's sinister past with a member of The Seven. With its launch date just a few days away, The Boys Season 4 features some fresh supes including Firecracker, performed by The Tick star Valorie Curry. The character does not show up in the comics on which the Emmy-winning Prime Video production is based. But given Moriarty's character Annie January, sometimes known as Starlight, she sounds to have some bad blood.
Moriarty discussed Starlight's past of bullying Firecracker and how that could be linked back to Starlight's relationship with her mother in an interview with Comicbook.com along with co-stars Karen Fukuhara and Claudia Doumit. The actress talked about her technique as a performer and the reasons she appreciated the bullying reveal. Read the complete remark below:

Regarding what Moriarty's disclosure suggests for Firecracker, it's also fascinating. The recruit joining The Seven might be more motivated to damage Starlight, maybe even tracking down Donna. But she could also get to a place of understanding with Starlight as alliances and rivalries on The Boys often change. In any case, Starlight is ready for a few memorable events in the next weeks.
The Boys Season 4 opens with three Prime Video episodes on June 13.
The Boys: An Inventory
Eric Kripke created The Boys as a superhero/dark comic book satire series using the same-named comic book line. The show is set in a "what-if" universe honoring superheroes as gods or celebrities with little repercussions for their actions. One squad of vigilantes under the guidance of a vengeance-obsessed man named Billy Butcher will fight back against these super-charged "heroes," therefore exposing them for what they are.
The sitcom has become beloved by audiences, which fuels great enthusiasm about the regular caustic comedy and storyline shocks across every season. The Boys has also got lot of favorable reviews. Among the various reasons the program is so popular is its capacity to creatively address issues of corruption, power, and the human condition.
A Different Side for Starlight
I enjoy that they keep adding these defects and weaknesses to a character who, in my opinion, finally makes her more appealing to perform, more appealing to watch. The most shocking aspect, to me, came when I had a time with Firecracker where she exposed a side of my past where I had bullied others.
That was similar for me, Erin; I had to transcend something. Like, I used to bully people in past. And I carried on like that. And there's a reason I did that—that my mum was doing—that and this. I enjoy that point of view. For that, to me, is the most clear-cut evil moment. She has shown great virtue; everything else has been done with good intention. I enjoy their adding those small things.
