However, fans of Marvel Comics first saw her in 1964 in an early edition of X-Men.

The Scarlet Witch's Marvel Comics Powers

From the very start, her abilities were incredible as this talented witch was born into this magic! It's a pretty amazing skill, a natural talent! What pushed her abilities into hyperdrive, was a connection to a very ancient god who ruled over chaos. That was Chthon, he was one of those supernatural figures that bestowed his incredible powers to the witch and that meant that Wanda had abilities that made her a pretty intimidating character.

It was truly amazing as it allowed Wanda to not only become stronger, it's also a very unique form of magic. But also added in this really interesting concept in comics, Wanda's incredible powers were tied to a curse. There wasn't a chance she was always in full control, leading to some unexpected outcomes in battles!

As her story progressed she was a Nexus being! A figure, in Marvel Comics lore, that's able to alter the whole universe.

While it's been years since the MCU gave us this great, inspiring character, Wanda Maximoff! She has quickly proven that she's one of the most powerful heroes. However, unlike Marvel Comics, where the character's strength has been more established over decades, Wanda, as we see in the MCU is still growing, expanding her knowledge, and becoming an incredibly powerful figure!

Fans who watched "Avengers: Age of Ultron" first saw her, but this witch is going to really come into her own in future shows and Movies. She starts off with powerful talents like energy manipulation!

It turned out that the Avengers really did teach her! As Wanda's powers increased after some really exciting times training with the Avengers, that wasn't the end of her power but as a character, there was also an ability for her to unleash some destruction, making her a little more like a villain. She would become this formidable witch, though and even if she had these immense abilities she would hold back!

In "Infinity War" and "Endgame" we learned the immense power of Wanda that only became apparent as she reached new highs and was so committed to the safety of her "Vision." In this case, that deep sense of love made Wanda incredibly strong.

"WandaVision was another part of the MCU and really demonstrated the strength that Wanda Maximoff has. Her powers grew and expanded, with a focus on reality, giving her control of an entire community. She had so much control that she made an entire community into something unlike their true world!

In addition to controlling the power of the world, the witch also created life by bringing to life, her children! Tommy and Billy!

But in general terms Marvel Comics' version, the character that we have seen, is pretty powerful as she's learned from a wealth of experience and power!

This witch was also beaten by villains like Thanos.

That also made some fans nervous! She could also be controlled by Kang and Rogue. However, she managed to break free of his control after many, many years.

The MCU's version had a pretty major loss that seemed to break a lot of hearts for viewers!

Who knows how strong she really is right now as she seems to have died at the end of her last showing!

Her power really had the chance to skyrocket. While it's really just up to "Marvel" and its writers and those working to create these amazing projects, it may also make everyone wondering!
