What Couples Made it Official in the My Hero Academia Finale?
The My Hero Academia ending was a wild ride for fans. The biggest surprise is how many of those fan-favorite Couples ended up unconfirmed, leaving lots of debates about who is dating whom in this world!
How Many Couples Made It Official?
Just one! Yep, a pretty huge twist and you might be surprised because they weren't even main characters in My Hero Academia! The series was full of Relationships but only one was actually made official.
Who Did It End Up Being?
- Turns out, those villains Gentle and La Brava became a couple. Fans had a pretty strong idea that they had feelings for each other, and in the last chapter of the My Hero Academia series, we see them wearing rings, making those love birds husband and wife.
- That means they did get married - a super big twist. We can only wonder how the other big couples from the My Hero Academia finale - especially Izuku and Ochaco - worked it all out for those relationships in their lives, too.
- It's interesting how Kohei Horikoshi - the artist of this series - didn't make all of these other relationships official!
What Did the Fans Think?
- People had lots of feelings about that last chapter - both positive and negative! Even before the last chapter came out, those who were crazy My Hero Academia fans were upset that the author had not really made any big deals with some of the other couples that were on the show. We're still talking about it, for sure.
- A lot of fans were definitely on the Izuku and Ochaco ship - their love! There are strong hints, and even Izuku and Ochaco get some extra-special moments in chapter 429, but it just wasn't a clear answer.
- And there's also those wild fan reactions to the My Hero Academia finale. Some fans thought they should have given more answers - while other fans were happy with the way it all played out. The debates are probably gonna keep happening - just like those big shonen anime fan arguments that happen after all of their favorites come to an end!
My Hero Academia is all about super strength, but some fans definitely found it missing a lot when it came to love in the final chapters! It seems like this isn't gonna go away fast for fans, because it leaves the audience with lots of questions and possibilities. The big thing that's going to make things interesting, and a ton of fun, is just how much these fans will keep on wanting more. Even if it means more arguments about what could have been in My Hero Academia.
