Kamala Khan's character, Ms. Marvel, has been a hit since she made her debut in 2014! But we just got to see her use those incredible polymorph powers in a super weird way. And no, we are not talking about Ms. Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - this is about the awesome Ms. Marvel comic series!
So What's Ms. Marvel's Power?
You can call it "embiggening" or polymorph powers, but Kamala has a real wild ability! You've seen it before in her Marvel Comics. She's basically a shape-shifter! Remember when she went super thin to sneak under a door, or transformed herself into Mary Jane Watson, or maybe even how she used that Inhuman power?
How Does This "Melting Face" Thing Work?
The real deal? This is the new stuff from the NYX Comic Series. In this comic, Kamala’s face turns all "melty", all weird! Here's the back story. In this NYX #1 issue - Kamala's friend wants her to hit the club with a whole lot of mutants - and things take a turn when a fight breaks out!
- You see, Kamala Khan needs to keep her identity secret! If those anti-mutant freaks figure out she's Ms. Marvel, she's in deep trouble! They were freaking out about those mutant powers! And people were recording all that!
- She used her shape-shifting abilities and turned her face into weird putty! She can’t really transform herself into someone else just yet - because, well, that might be hard, you know?! This isn't her usual, amazing form-shifting!
Can She Change Her Appearance Totally?
She's gotten more control over these Ms. Marvel powers after those awesome Inhuman experiments. She's more powerful now! Now, with the mutants not being cool anymore and in this From The Ashes story line, Ms. Marvel is doing this incredible hero work in New York City and really wants to be discreet. Fans hope she will get more awesome abilities to use when she does take down villains in these Marvel Comics - as that NYX comic series looks amazing.
