It seems there were strong emotions in the mix!

Leia had this special moment to think back and ponder just how much her dad, Darth Vader hurt their family!
Her pain and sorrow were sensed by Luke who felt that her anger might give into the dark side.

All of the events and the things they went through was something the family went through.

What also gave this a bit of depth was the fact that Vader made this statement that if Luke wasn't on the right side of the force, Leia would turn!
