Kingpin is on Fire!
Daredevil has had his fair share of brawls with Kingpin, but now Wilson Fisk has some new demonic powers that are making him a real pain in the neck for Matt Murdock. It seems like Wilson Fisk has been possessed by the sin of Greed, making him more ambitious than ever before.
In Daredevil #11, Matt is recovering after a fight with Kingpin and decides to head to a safe house with Elektra to track down the crime lord. They only find a satellite map that reveals Kingpin's next target: his son, Butch Pharris.
Daredevil and Elektra arrive at the scene just in time to stop Kingpin from killing Butch. But even with these two working together, Kingpin's new demonic upgrades make him a tough opponent. He's way faster and stronger than before, and to make matters worse, Kingpin grabs Elektra and engulfs her in flames that shoot from his arm!
Kingpin Can Summon the Fires of Hell Now
Matt Murdock went to Hell to save his best friend Foggy Nelson's soul, and even managed to become a priest afterwards. Unfortunately, some pieces of Matt's soul were missing and infected by the Seven Deadly Sins. We've seen his allies like Elektra, She-Hulk, and Wolverine possessed by these sins, and now Kingpin is the latest victim.
Greed has driven Kingpin to reclaim Hell's Kitchen for himself, and it has also given him some serious strength and speed. Daredevil can't even keep up.
It's ironic that Kingpin has gained these demonic powers. After all, Daredevil is known as the "Devil of Hell's Kitchen." Now, Kingpin is the one channeling the power of Hell. Greed has been a tough sin to deal with compared to others like Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust. These sins have given their hosts new abilities, but Kingpin is the first one who is genuinely more dangerous with this evil power on his side.
Matt has managed to exorcise some of the sins before, but Kingpin's new power is going to make things a lot harder.
Is Kingpin Too Powerful for Daredevil Now?
Kingpin's demonic upgrade is a real game-changer. His greatest enemy has always been the one with the devilish reputation, but now Kingpin is the one using Hell's power. It's going to be a tough fight for Daredevil, and this new power is going to give Kingpin a serious edge.
