You’d have a hard time finding anyone who's not curious to see what he'd come up with for "Die My Love", which seems so unique!
Think of the story for "Die My Love" for a minute! Imagine a gay detective romance film that feels more like something you’d see in film noir - a little spooky, with those detective dramas with an edgy storyline set back in the 1930s! Sounds awesome, right?
Sadly, the future for "Die My Love" is looking dicey after Joaquin pulled out. There's a serious risk the whole film might just fall apart since he was such a big draw. It seems that investors in the project will want to look back and reconsider the whole budget for this film if it doesn't get off the ground soon.
Joaquin Phoenix is known for some amazing films, and he isn’t shy when it comes to intense roles - from “Joker,” to “The Master," "Gladiator,” “Walk The Line”, the dude does what the dude does, even if it takes a lot out of him!
However, after Joaquin’s success with those films, he’s kind of making it harder to see the whole project get finished and have a theatrical release, which just seems to make it even more confusing as to what caused Joaquin to pull out of "Die My Love". And here comes everyone in Hollywood scrambling to figure out what happens next.
I know that “Die My Love" fans are seriously heartbroken to hear this! But let’s be honest - things are up in the air now that the star decided to step away. The future for this movie looks pretty tough! With the crew at such an intense point, right before filming? Ugh, what a bummer. It was also pretty impressive that it would have starred Danny Ramirez, who has really wowed the crowd with "Top Gun: Maverick"! You could argue that it was just meant to be, maybe Joaquin really did have a case of serious cold feet!
