How Did This Happen?

It's Adam Warlock's fault, well, not totally his fault. But the key element here comes with 2018's Infinity Wars storyline! It involved some serious and very exciting moves!

  • Gamora killed Thanos with the power of the Power Stone.
  • This led to Gamora attempting to assemble the Infinity Stones and a very odd place called Warp World was created, filled with mashed-up Marvel characters. This essentially wipes out the previous iteration of the Infinity Watch.
  • Adam Warlock steps in, fixes Warp World, and decides to give each Infinity Stone its own soul!
  • This causes the stones to seek out new hosts!

The Most Powerful Watch Ever

Marvel is delivering an exciting iteration! If anything what stands out is that the previous incarnations of the Infinity Watch never actually saw each member fuse directly with a stone.

The original Infinity Watch was made to control the immense power of the Infinity Stones by spreading the burden, with a key person being Adam Warlock who actually got the Infinity Gauntlet first!

That previous team eventually fell, and was then taken over by Gamora during Infinity Wars!

That all means that this Infinity Watch is stronger and may lead the Marvel Universe on an unforgettable new adventure. One where time will tell what this means and if anything these amazing, unique Infinity Stones holders are some of the greatest powers the Marvel Universe has!
