Hulk Defeated Easily! Marvel Zombies' Shocking Groot Twist!

Hulk SMASHED! Marvel Reveals a Shockingly Easy Hulk Defeat!

The Incredible Hulk: Not So Incredible Anymore?!

The Hulk, that legendary Marvel bruiser? He's known for being the strongest dude in the MCU.   But get this: Marvel Zombies: Dawn of Decay #2 (by Thomas Krajewski and Jason Muhr) just showed he can be taken down effortlessly. Yup, the Hulk got totally wrecked, folks! This time, though, a hero in a unexpected way, really showcasing some extremely unique fighting dynamics. And that isn’t necessarily a very new revelation as there is some prior precedent for this, although the methods have differed greatly over the span of these very distinct stories. It begs a very important question: Just how strong are these individuals? It also reminds viewers exactly why many might have those doubts and anxieties in such large-scale events.

A crazy zombie outbreak hits New York City. It's even wilder than what was found in The Last of Us (plant-like zombies thanks to a sick Groot!). Only Bruce Banner (and a miraculously uninfected Groot) are safe. Banner has this plan: Use Groot to make a cure. He has to get to his lab! This leaves him with one clear and obvious solution.

To avoid infection, Banner Hulks out. But guess what? He gets sidetracked, fighting zombies. Then?  Groot's vine tendrils wrap around Hulk's neck.   Choke-out. Hulk's down!

It seems shocking that Groot takes down the Hulk that easily! However, we all should remember that Groot's been labeled "Hulk-level" strong before! (See Guardians of the Galaxy #7). That storyline showed just how insanely powerful this seemingly simple and easy-to-dismiss character could really become, resulting in something unexpectedly devastating and amazing, and the narrative continues to reflect this theme across its storytelling approaches and decisions.

This particular iteration showed Groot transforming into Grootspace – this colossal, planet-eating monster– this shows why taking down the Hulk was never a difficulty in the first place. The outcome would seem obvious, to many. This form could destroy Hulk with no effort, suggesting just how massive this transformation truly is!

Way before Guardians of the Galaxy –Groot was a totally obscure monster that first appeared in Tales to Astonish #13.  This earlier iteration’s combat involved facing off against the Hulk in The Incredible Hulk Annual #5! The Hulk wins. But get this – he wins through smarts, not strength!    This shows, definitively; Groot’s unmatched ability and how formidable and devastating his full potential could really be, demonstrating the key points highlighted.

Hulk's strength isn't as unstoppable as it once seemed! Groot’s win, while unexpected for this very specific plot and storyline, is entirely in keeping with his existing canon history in many Marvel titles; and several times demonstrates those same points: he truly is immensely powerful; showing he's capable of taking down someone as powerful as the Hulk with ridiculous ease! Marvel Zombies: Dawn of Decay #2 shows just how amazing and memorable these stories are, those unexpected developments making for exciting twists that leave viewers breathless and anxiously anticipating future adventures and plot reveals! And you might be able to completely imagine another version where Hulk’s side is the actual victorious side, completely altering the outcome and resulting emotional arc! It might be possible for an entirely different ending!
