The New Villain Wants of Deadpool to Finish Him Using The Muramasa Blade
Though much is yet unknown about this Death Grip persona, one thing is clear: Deadpool seems to completely enthrall him. The latter runs across the former during a contract job during Deadpool #1. Death Grip is focused on the fact that Deadpool cannot die when they cross paths, to the point where he advises at the end of the issue that this could present a chance for learning from Deadpool's talents. Deadpool's power to not die captivates him obviously, and he wants to explore the limits of the Merc With a Mouth.
That leads readers to Deadpool #3, where Death Grip can be seen leaving his cult of followers on a journey to the mutant planet of Arakko, where he confronts Solem, a mutant with adamantium-skinned skin from the preview panels issued for the issue. Death Grip aims to get the Muramasa Blade. Long as he gets to hear the specifics afterward, Solem is totally on board with Death Grip owning and using his blade on Deadpool, even though he may not be as big a fan of Death Grip's lack of a sense of humor.
Marvel debuted even Deadpool cannot survive new weapon.
Although Deadpool is well-known for his healing ability, he might at last have found his match since the publisher has revealed a weapon able to neutralize even his amazing healing power. Marvel has already unveiled several weapons capable of murdering Deadpool, but now the notorious Muramasa Blade appears most appropriate danger to the Merc With a Mouth.
Cody Ziglar's Looper, Deadpool #3 preview, with artwork by Roge Antonio, presents the spectre of a weapon that may permanently kill Deadpool: the Muramasa Blade. Most famously able to mute Marvel's strongest healing elements, the Blade could prove to be Wade Wilson's farewell. As if the existence of such a weapon did not signal catastrophe for Deadpool already, that same weapon may be falling into the hands of his newest opponent, Death Grip.
Perhaps the Ultimate Downfall of Deadpool is the Muramasa Blade.
Should the [Muramasa] sword cause Death Grip to get enraged, it could prove to be his undoing before he even has chance to kill Deadpool with it.
The Muramasa Blade is not a new weapon; rather, it has been among the most important ones in X-lore. Two Muramasa Blades first emerged from the work of an eternal swordsman called Muramasa. At the price of corrupting their psyche, these blades are able to provide the user legendary capability. Once carried by Wolverine, the second sword was imbued with both blood and soul, therefore slowing down the Healing Factor of everyone involved. The blade would diminish Deadpool's healing factor, just as readily as it can weaken Warrior's. Death Grip wants to exploit this in Deadpool #3, but it might cost more than he is fairly negotiating for. Readers still lack much knowledge about Death Grip, hence for all readers know, Death Grip is too far gone past corruption for the evils of the blade to wear him down by much. Conversely, should the sword cause Death Grip to become enraged, it may prove to be his undoing before he even gets chance to kill Deadpool with the Muramasa sword.
Although Deadpool's Healing Factor is well-known to be unmatched, Wade Wilson became vulnerable to death when Weapon X found a way to reverse it.
