A Plot Hole:

It seems fans are never happy with any holes that might exist within the plot.

If there was something that caused a ruckus among fans of Doctor Who. This is going to be one of those moments that left many scratching their heads, or just straight up confused!

It seems that when "Survival" was released as a television "Doctor Who" series, and was seen as the last part of the story in 1989, it was one that didn't offer a very happy ending, that made many feel that this show, and the writers could have done a lot better!

The biggest issue? That it appeared The Doctor, survived through an insanely lucky stroke. Doctor Who has these really remarkable stories, always coming up with unbelievable plots and outcomes, as fans have come to expect that "Doctor Who" really has no bounds.

However, if you look at this in the classic era it seemed almost unfair for fans to watch The Doctor escape! He didn't really plan it. It's something that would take Doctor Who back to its most basic formula, it seems to be as if the writers were so happy to have The Doctor make his grand escape!

There was just this one "mattress"! The one that seemed like a last minute fix! Fans started wondering what really happened as if someone threw a life preserver, that just so happened to be perfect, to bring The Doctor back. Fans might not have even seen a scene, giving viewers even a little bit of perspective as to what exactly The Doctor did.

The magazine went on to give fans a truly insightful, new way to see this series! The magazine has a whole different set of story ideas for this show! This includes how "Doctor Who" continues on. What's super interesting, was that the magazine gave viewers a whole different view of The Doctor! He is always able to predict and make use of this skill as he traverses time and travels from one galaxy to the next.

In a special story from the magazine known as "Emperor of the Daleks," it was made clear just why The Doctor went to great lengths!
