Blue Beetle's Ship, the Bug, Makes Returning Calls to DC Lore
First appearing in 1967's Captain Atom #86 (by David Kaler, Steve Ditko, and Rocco Mastroserio), the Bug (or Beetle Ship) was the second Blue Beetle's dependable flying vessel. Ted created The Bug out of obsolete automotive parts at the time he was still running Kord Industries personally. Ted, among the most talented creators in the DC Universe, progressively unveiled his own fresh changes to the Bug throughout time. Following destruction by Doomsday during a Death of Superman tie-in narrative, the Bug would finally be phased out of DC comics.
