Titans Defeat Trigon! DC's Dawn of DC & Justice League Unlimited

The DC Universe is always full of surprises and lately, the Titans have been making huge headlines. They've not only replaced the Justice League, but recently defeated one of their most formidable foes— Trigon, a villain even Superman couldn't handle!

Titans vs. Trigon

In Titans #15, from DC Comics (released in 2024), Raven and the Titans face a massive challenge. Not just one villain, but Trigon (Raven's father) and her evil twin, Dark-Winged Queen. The stakes were huge; the writers made both villains into what was described as an “extinction level” threats! This was such an incredible undertaking and they even needed reinforcements, bringing in one of the mightiest heroes: Superman!

However, Trigon effortlessly knocks out Superman in a single move! It's pretty shocking for everyone as this showcases just how powerful Trigon really is. Even the Man of Steel wasn't able to really face his power!

Raven's Triumph

The series brought in a shocking but incredible twist to this incredible DC Comics storyline! Beast Boy plays a super crucial part here. What happened was an incredible mediation that resulted in a fusion of both Ravens to create one, complete Raven! Despite having this power up! Even Raven couldn't handle the power of Trigon on her own.

She showed how determined the Titans are! She gave everyone a creative solution using some crazy strategies to gain some extra, amazing power! She created a special crown that linked every other Titan to her! By focusing her abilities through this device! She amplified her powers making the battle even bigger.

With the use of this special weapon she's finally able to bring down Trigon!

A Permanent End?

Even though they won against the incredibly evil Trigon, this moment isn't what everyone may be expecting. Even as Raven herself delivered that powerful finishing move!

It turns out demons, don't die.
She explains that they just fade away!

For anyone expecting some definitive final moment. It's interesting. While Trigon may not come back anytime soon, he could technically show up later, as the writers confirmed, but it won't be anytime soon. The Titans definitely won an incredible victory. The battle against Trigon was something that only they were capable of doing. They were really tested!

Dawn of DC and the Titans

This storyline and the new, amazing version of "Dawn of DC,", has shown just how incredible The Titans really are. They not only replaced the Justice League as DC’s primary team, they even achieved an unprecedented win in a very short timeframe; the battle and success occurred in less than two years!

Compare that with the Justice League! It's hard to measure just how monumental this win against Trigon was but as a group that is truly new on the scene they managed to do what even Superman couldn't, a big, unexpected, exciting moment!

While the team of Titans won an incredible battle they’ve now begun their new chapter, taking their special place as one of the members that have formed Justice League Unlimited!

The Future of the Titans

What might this mean for those that love The Titans? The biggest event so far? DC ALL IN! The universe and the storylines have undergone a big transformation. A huge part of this major transformation has seen a huge push for "Justice League Unlimited," giving us an enormous team full of incredible characters from across the world!
